A motorcycle, or saddle type vehicle, is disclosed that may have at least one seat and at least two wheels, at least one hub electric motor. A large dry storage compartment may be positioned between the rider and steering mount. A rechargeable battery and battery management system may be located below the storage compartment in a battery housing, where the battery housing may be a structural component of the chassis. A rear electronics housing may be attached to and located behind the battery housing, and may contain major electrical components such as electric motor controller and contactors. Two structural members, or frame side rails, may form sides of the storage compartment and extend between the electronics housing and steering mount. The electronics housing may also connect to the battery housing such that the battery housing reinforces and strengthens the chassis, or structural frame. A secondary storage compartment may be located under the seat. Additionally, the storage compartments may have electronic locking mechanisms that are activated via a wireless connection to a remote electronic device.

A ridden motorized vehicle such as a motorized scooter, motorcycle, ATV, tricycle, snowmobile, or lawn tractor, having a driven rear wheel may be equipped with an enclosed chain or belt drive enclosure having a first end and a second end and an inner enclosure and an outer enclosure, such that the inner enclosure has the rear suspension member and the rear wheel mounted at the second end, and concentrically pivots at the first end on the motor assembly output shaft of a motor assembly fastened to or comprising part of the main vehicle frame, and the outer enclosure pivoted on another bearing co-linear with the motor assembly output shaft, but mounted on a removable section of, or attachment to, said frame.

A motorcycle including at least two wheels. The at least two wheels include a front wheel and a rear wheel, the rear wheel defining a rotational axis. The motorcycle includes an engine for driving at least one of the wheels. A radiator assembly includes a radiator configured to receive coolant from the engine and dissipate heat from the coolant. The radiator assembly further includes an inlet guide configured to direct air toward the radiator. The inlet guide has an inlet opening positioned closer to the rear wheel than the front wheel. At least a portion of the inlet opening is positioned below the rotational axis of the rear wheel.

A multi-headlight assembly of a motorcycle includes a pair of headlights. A first one of the pair of headlights includes a low power main lamp and a second one of the pair of headlights includes a high power main lamp, the low power main lamp being configured to illuminate in a first operating condition and the high power main lamp being configured to illuminate in a second operating condition. A secondary lamp is associated with one of the pair of headlights and is configured to illuminate when the main lamp of the other one of the pair of headlights is illuminated. The secondary lamp is of a lower power than the low power main lamp.
