A bicycle suspension seatpost with a four-bar linkage design and a suspension spring element located within the seatpost tube is provided. The bicycle seatpost comprises a seatpost tube configured to be secured to a bicycle frame, a pair of substantially vertically stacked linkage bars rotatably connected to the seatpost tube, a rear linkage rotatably connected to the pair of substantially vertically stacked linkage bars, and a biasing member disposed within the protrusion to resist rotation of the pair of substantially vertically stacked linkage bars about one or more axes of rotation.

An automated bicycle lighting system comprising light modules that contain sensors and a processor which enable the color and/or flash state of the emitted light to be changed depending upon the physical orientation of the modules is provided. The sensors and processor also allow the operating state of the light modules to be adjusted depending upon whether movement of the light modules is sensed. The modules are used in combination with pedals configured to removably receive the modules and/or with an auxiliary mount that provides for mounting the modules to other components of a bicycle, such as, for example, handlebars, seat-posts, frame tubes, helmets and/or a rider's clothing.

Automated bicycle light system

A quick-release clamping mechanism secures two objects and rapidly attaches or detaches to secure the objects to one another in a rigid, repeatable manner. The mechanism is formed from two interconnecting contiguous pieces of material, free from hinges or other attachment devices. The first contiguous piece is attached to a first object, and the second contiguous piece is attached to a second object to be secured to the first object. The piece that forms the first profile can be a rail with a male protrusion. The piece that forms the second profile can be a rail with a female cavity that receives the male protrusion. The mechanism also includes a retention channel, a clamp bar, and a tension device that applies tension to the clamp bar to secure the mechanism. A secondary retention mechanism is provided to prevent separation of the components if the primary locking feature is disengaged inadvertently.

A bicycle suspension stem with an integrated pivot between a static part and a suspended part to provide vibration and impact absorption is provided. A bicycle stem includes a static part configured to connect to a steerer of a bicycle fork, the static part comprising a protrusion, a suspended part rotatably connected to the static part and configured to connect to a handlebar, and a biasing member disposed between the protrusion and an inside surface of the suspended part to resist rotation of the suspended part about the axis of rotation.

A bicycle seat position changer is provided which allows the rider to quickly change the effective seat tube angle of the bicycle without requiring the use of tools. The seat position changer allows the rider to move the seat between a forward position and a rearward position, allowing a rider to select a more aerodynamic position or a traditional road position while riding, as required for comfort or by riding conditions. The seat position changer allows the rider to adjust the seat position between the forward and rearward positions while maintaining a consistent difference in seat-to-bottom-bracket length. In one embodiment the consistent difference in seat-to-bottom-bracket length is close to zero and imperceptible to the rider.

Multiple position bicycle seat post

An open architecture control system is provided that may be used for remote and semi-autonomous operation of commercial off the shelf (COTS) and custom robotic systems, platforms, and vehicles to enable safer neutralization of explosive hazards and other services. In order to effectively deal with rapidly evolving threats and highly variable operational environments, the control system is built using an open architecture and includes a high level of interoperability. The control system interfaces with a large range of robotic systems and vehicles, autonomy software packages, perception systems, and manipulation peripherals to enable prosecution of complex missions effectively. Because the control system is open and does not constrain the end user to a single robotics system, mobile platform, or peripheral hardware and software, the control system may be used to assist with a multitude of missions beyond explosive hazard detection and clearance.

System and method for remote control of unmanned vehicles

A roller system including a frame, a plurality of arm assemblies configured to apply a force to a surface, each arm assembly including an arm pivotably connected to the frame and a roller assembly pivotably connected to the arm and having a plurality of rollers configured to engage with the surface, and a pressure distribution system configured to adjust the force applied to the surface by at least one of the plurality of arm assemblies.

Roller system

In an implementation, a roller system is provided. The roller system includes a modular frame. The frame includes a plurality of weight component attachment points. Each weight component attachment point is adapted to receive one or more weight components such that a weight of the frame and location of a center of gravity of the frame is adjusted by the addition of one or more weight components to each of the plurality of weight component attachment points. The frame further includes at least one arm assembly adapted to connect to the frame, and to apply force to a surface, wherein the force applied to the surface is proportional to the weight of the frame and the location of the center of gravity of the frame.
