A multi-stage centrifugal pump includes a pump casing, in which a shaft () carrying an impeller is rotatably arranged. The pump casing has a pump casing foot part () that includes a reversibly closable maintenance opening (), via which a bearing and/or seal (), which is arranged at a shaft end within the pump casing, is accessible and exchangeable.

Multistage centrifugal pump

A pump assembly () includes a rotor axle () extending along a rotor axis (R), an impeller () fixed to the rotor axle (), a pump housing () accommodating the impeller (), and a drive motor with a stator () and a rotor (). The rotor () is fixed to the rotor axle () for driving the impeller (). A rotor can () accommodates the rotor (). The rotor can () includes a rotor can flange (). An electronics housing () has a cap () including a first material () forming a front face () of the cap (). The front face () extends essentially perpendicular to the rotor axis (R). The first material () is at least partially overmolded with a second material () at an inner side of the cap (). The second material () is more heat-conductive than the first material ().

Pump assembly

A cartridge seal is provided for sealing a shaft () with respect to a housing () and is intended to be a slide ring seal arrangement () for a centrifugal pump. The cartridge seal includes a shaft protection sleeve which is rotationally connected to the shaft () by a retaining ring, a support () for incorporating the cartridge seal into a housing opening of the pump housing (), a slide ring which is rotationally connected to the shaft protection sleeve and a counter slide ring which is rotationally connected to the support (), as well as an enclosed space () within the sealing arrangement. The space () is fluidically connected to a sealing gap formed between the slide ring and the counter slide ring, and is at least partially prefilled with liquid in order to prevent dry running when the pump is operated for the first time.

Centrifugal pump

A pump assembly () includes a rotor axle () extending along a rotor axis (R), an impeller () fixed to the rotor axle (), a pump housing () accommodating the impeller (), and a drive motor including a stator () and a rotor (). The rotor () is fixed to the rotor axle () for driving the impeller (). A rotor can () accommodates the rotor (). The rotor can () include a rotor can flange (). A stator housing () accommodates the stator (). The stator housing () is secured to the pump housing () by a bayonet ring (). The bayonet ring () is resiliently spring-loaded for axially biasing the stator housing () towards the impeller () against the pump housing ().

A centrifugal pump () includes a pump casing and a shaft () which is rotatably mounted therein and on which an impeller (), for delivering fluid, is arranged rotationally fixed. A cartridge shaft seal () is arranged between the shaft () and an opening () of the casing, through which opening the shaft () is led. The cartridge shaft seal () includes a sleeve () which surrounds the shaft () at least in the region of the openingand which is connected to the shaft () releasably and rotationally fixed, by way of a clamping device () which is arranged on the outer side of the sleeve (). The clamping device () includes clamping jaws () which only engage on the outer side of the sleeve () and non-positively connect the sleeve () to the shaft ().

A centrifugal pump includes at least one pump stage (). This pump stage () includes an impeller () which is mounted rotationally fixed on a pump shaft (). Apart from the pump stage (), the centrifugal pump is equipped with a turbine wheel () which is arranged on the pump shaft (), without a movement coupling to the pump shaft, in the delivery flow of the centrifugal pump. This turbine wheel () forms a transducer of a flow measuring device. A blading of the turbine wheel () is such that a torque exerted by the delivery flow onto the turbine wheel (') is directed counter to a torque exerted via the pump shaft () onto the impeller ().

A multi-stage centrifugal pump includes pump stages (), with impellers () arranged on a rotatable shaft () arranged within a pump casing. The shaft passes through a chamber (), provided within the pump casing, and is sealingly led out of the pump casing for connection to a drive motor (). A shaft ring () is fixedly and sealingly connected to the shaft () and has one side, at least in sections, that is subjected to the pressure of the pump and is arranged in or on the shaft. An axial seal () is provided with a rotating part formed by the shaft ring () or a seal part () arranged thereon and with a non-rotating part formed by a counter-ring () or a seal part which is arranged thereon. The counter-ring () is radially sealed with respect to the chamber () and is axially movably guided within the chamber.

A multistage centrifugal pump () has impellers () arranged on a common shaft (), which is rotatably arranged within a pump casing (-). One end of the shaft () is led out of the casing (-) for connection to a drive motor and another shaft end () is rotatably mounted in the pump casing (-). The shaft end () which is mounted within the pump casing (-) is subjected to a counter-force which is produced by way of pressure subjection via a conduit connection to a delivery side of the pump. An axial seal () is provided on the shaft end () arranged within the pump casing (-). The rotating part of the axial seal is led on the shaft end and the non-rotating part is led, axially movably, within the pump casing (-). A sealing arrangement is provided between the pump casing and the axially movably mounted part.

Multistage centrifugal pump with shaft hydraulic force compensation

A pressure exchanger for transmitting pressure energy from a first fluid flow to a second fluid flow includes a housing having an entry and an exit for the first fluid flow and an entry and an exit for the second fluid flow. A rotor arranged in the housing includes a multitude of channels which extend radially distanced to a rotation axis of the rotor. The rotor is arranged to the entries and exits in a manner such that the channels, on rotation of the rotor, in each case in an alternating manner, connect the entry for the first fluid flow to the exit for the second fluid flow, and the entry for the second fluid flow to the exit for the first fluid flow, and with a drive motor via which the rotor may be driven in rotation, and with setting means for changing the rotational speed of the rotor.
