The present disclosure relates to engineered DNA polymerase polypeptides and compositions thereof, as well as polynucleotides encoding the engineered DNA polymerase polypeptides. The present disclosure also provides methods of using the engineered DNA polymerase polypeptides or compositions thereof for diagnostic and other purposes.

Engineered DNA polymerase variants

The present invention provides engineered DNA polymerase polypeptides and compositions thereof, as well as polynucleotides encoding the engineered DNA polymerase polypeptides. The invention also provides methods for use of the compositions comprising the engineered DNA polymerase polypeptides for diagnostic and other purposes.

Compositions and methods comprising polynucleotides and polypeptides having glyphosate-N-acetyltransferase (GLYAT) activity are provided. In specific embodiments, the sequence has an improved property, such as, but not limited to, an improved specificity for glyphosate when compared to an appropriate control resulting in decreased off target acetylation of, e.g. an amino acid such as aspartate. Further provided are nucleic acid constructs, plants, plant cells, explants, seeds and grain having the GLYAT sequences. Various methods of employing the GLYAT sequences are provided. Such methods include methods for producing a glyphosate tolerant plant, plant cell, explant or seed and methods of controlling weeds in a field containing a crop employing the plants and/or seeds disclosed herein.

Compositions and methods comprising polynucleotides and polypeptides having 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD) activity and having insensitivity to an HPPD inhibitor are provided. Compositions and methods comprising sequences having meganuclease activity

Traditionally, the primary method for impacting insect pest populations is the application of broad-spectrum chemical insecticides. However, there is increasing concern about the environmental hazards associated with the production and use of synthetic chemical pesticides. Thus, there is substantial interest in developing alternative pesticides, including biological control of insect pests of agricultural significance using a microbial agent or another species of insect. The present invention provides compositions and methods for such biological control. Modified Cry3 pesticidal polypeptides, polynucleotides encoding such polypeptides, and methods of use are disclosed. The modified polynucleotides provided herein can be used to transform organisms and cells of hosts comprising plant, insects, and microorganisms.
