A main bearing unit for supporting the rotor shaft of a wind turbine, including a rolling bearing having an inner ring, an outer ring and a rolling element arrangement received between the outer and inner ring and a coupling arrangement which is designed to couple the rotor shaft to an output shaft of the wind turbine at least indirectly and so as to transmit torque. The rotor shaft is coupled to one of the outer and inner ring so as to transmit torque. The coupling arrangement is coupled so as to transmit torque to the one of the outer and inner ring as the rotor shaft.

The invention relates to an angular contact roller bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring, between which two or more raceways for a plurality of rolling elements are formed, the rolling elements being designed to roll in their respective raceways in the circumferential direction of the angular contact roller bearing, and the raceways and the rolling elements having cross-sections corresponding to one another at least approximately. A cross-section of a rolling element containing the central longitudinal axis has an at least approximately rectangular design and an imaginary diagonal through the cross-section of the rolling element which for all rolling elements on a raceway of the angular contact roller bearing is arranged on an imaginary surface at least approximately in the form of a cylindrical casing. The ratio of a transverse dimension of the rolling element to its length is characteristic of an angle at which the raceway of the rolling element is inclined relative to the central longitudinal axis of the angular contact roller bearing.

The invention relates to a bearing unit for a long rotor blade, especially a wind power installation, said bearing unit comprising two annular elements that can be rotated in relation to each other and are directly or indirectly connected to the rotor blade hub and to the rotor blade, and at least two running tracks that can be axially staggered in relation to each other and comprise peripheral rolling bodies with an approximately cylindrical shape, i.e. each comprising a lateral surface that is rotationally symmetrical to a rotational axis in a very precise manner. The aim of the invention is to be able to fully absorb the tipping moment caused by the wind pressure on the rotor blade and on the bearing unit, and optionally to absorb other forces and other moments. To this end, two running tracks are arranged between the two connection elements, are axially staggered in relation to each other, and comprise rolling bodies with an approximately cylindrical shape, said rolling bodies being oriented in such a way that the rotational axes thereof intersect the longitudinal axis of the rotor blade in question at an angle of between 30&#xb0; and 90&#xb0;. The invention also rates to a wind power installation provided with one such rotor blade bearing arrangement, and to a method for operating one such wind power installation. The at least one rotor blade in question is continuously rotted about the longitudinal axis thereof during the option of the wind power installation.

The present invention relates to an arrangement for the rotary actuation of an apparatus, for example of a crane, on a chassis or a foundation wherein a worm gear (1) and a housing (2) are secured on the foundation, a worm (3) is rotationally displaceable manually, or by a drive motor, and a worm wheel (4) is rotationally mounted to the housing (2). The worm wheel (4) is provided at both sides (6a, 6b) of its gearing (6) with a separate rolling bearing (10, 11, 12). Advantageously, housing (2) is formed with a base part (2a) and a cover part (2b) which can be flatly fixed on top of the base part (2a), and at least one end side of the worm wheel comprises a connection attachment which intersperses the base and/or the cover part. The housing is formed so that both the outer rings (12) of the rolling bearings lie against and/or are fixed to the corresponding wall of the base and cover parts (2a, 2b) of the housing (2), and the two corresponding inner rings (10) each lie against and/or are fixed to the wall of the worm wheel (4).
