A drawer includes two double-walled drawer frame members, in which respective profile elements of plastic material are accommodated, which extend over the entire length of the drawer frame members. The profile elements either comprise separate front and rear subelements which have cover plates with which they adjoin the front and rear ends of the drawer frame members, or are provided with retaining elements such as slides or rockers, wherein the profile elements are anchored in the drawer frame members at the rear ends thereof.

Drawer

A drawer includes two drawer side members into each of which a pull-out rail of a pull-out guide set is releasably hung. Each pull-out rail has at its rear end a hook which projects horizontally above the pull-out rail and by which it can be hung on the drawer side member. Each drawer side member has at its front region a rearwardly directed rigid hook which engages under a horizontal web of the pull-out rail. Each drawer side member is provided with a locking part which is movable transversely to the pull-out rail and prevents horizontal relative movement between the drawer side member and the pull-out rail. The drawer side members have near their rear ends a horizontal stop which prevents horizontal displacement of the drawer side member relative to the pull-out rail. When the drawer rests on the pull-out rails, the hooks of the drawer side members and the hooks of the pull-out rail are spaced from the pull-out rails and the drawer side members, respectively.

Guides for withdrawal of drawers

A pull-out guide assembly for a drawer or the like includes a support rail to be fastened to a furniture side wall, a pull-out rail to be fastened to the drawer and an intermediate rail on each side of the drawer. Running rollers transfer the load of the drawer from one rail to another. The running rollers are held in cage-like running carriages. Driving rollers which run on the supporting rail and the pull-out rail are mounted on the intermediate rail. The intermediate rail has a U-shaped or double T-shaped profile with upper and lower horizontal running flanges and a vertical connecting web. All running rollers are situated between the running flanges of the intermediate rail. A supporting roller for the pull-out rail is mounted at the front end of the intermediate rail.

Pull out guide assembly for drawers and the like

A hinge to be mounted on a frame of a piece of furniture includes a hinge arm which is mounted on a mounting plate and is lockable on the mounting plate. The hinge arm is articulated by means of at least one hinge axle to a hinge member which is fastenable to a door. The hinge arm or the mounting plate is provided with pegs having slots into which a spring activated latching member which is movable parallel to the mounting plate is engageable, thus locking the hinge arm to the mounting plate. The mounting plate and the hinge arm are of rectangular configuration with two longer sides and two shorter sides, whereby the longer sides of the mounting plate and the hinge arm are aligned parallel to the hinge axis. The mounting plate is provided on its longer sides with webs extending perpendicular to the mounting plate for abutment with the frame when in mounted position. The latching member is provided with a handle situated at one of the long sides of the hinge arm.

Hinge

A connecting fitting releasably connects two platelike furniture members. The connecting fitting comprises two connecting member which are adapted to be secured to respective ones of the furniture members. A first connecting member is pin-like and has a head and a shank, and the second connecting member is in the form of a casing with a cylindrical shell. A spring loaded locking member is situated within the casing. The casing has an opening in its cylindrical shell through which the head of the first connecting member is insertable. The locking member is adapted for releasably engaging the head of the pin-like connecting member when in the inserted position. A latch is situated in the casing to obstruct movement of the locking member biased by the spring. The latch is provided with a resilient abutment lever which the pin-like member strikes when it is inserted into the casing and by means of which the pin-like member moves the latch. The abutment lever gives way to the head of the pin-like connecting member when the latter is moved out of the casing.

Connecting fitting

A connecting fitting for releasably connecting two platelike furniture members includes two connecting members which are adapted to be secured to respective of the furniture members. A first connecting member is in the form of a casing with a cylindrical shell in which is positioned a spring loaded rotary wedge. The casing has an opening in its cylindrical shell through which the head of the pin-like connecting member is insertable into the casing. The rotary wedge releasably engages the underside of the head of the pin-like connecting member when in the inserted position. A tightening element is provided in the casing and is acted upon by a spring whereby rotation of the tightening element will result in rotation of the rotary wedge and vice versa.

A pull-out guide assembly includes a support rail to be mounted on a piece of furniture and a pull-out rail to be mounted on a drawer. Rollers are provided for transmitting the load of the drawer from the pull-out rail to the support rail. The front end of the support rail is fastened to a frame of the piece of furniture. The rear end of the support rail extends without connection to a side wall of the piece of furniture into the piece of furniture. The rear end of the support rail is provided with a lateral strut which abuts the furniture side wall.

A hinge for an article of furniture comprising a hinge arm and a mounting plate. The mounting plate is to be mounted on a side wall of said article of furniture and abuts a side face of the side wall with a mounting plane. The hinge arm is connected by means of a hinge axle to a hinge part adapted to be mounted on a furniture door. The hinge arm is fastened to the mounting plate by at least one locking member which is acted upon by a spring and is held on the mounting plate solely by means of the locking member. The mounting plate is provided with pegs extending perpendicularly to the mounting plane. The hinge arm comprising two arms defining an L. A first arm is aligned parallel to a front face of the side wall and a second arm is aligned parallel to the side face of said side wall. The locking member is a tilting lever pivoted on a pin extending perpendicularly from the second arm and is moveable in a plane parallel to the mounting plane between a locking position in which the hinge arm is fastened to the mounting plate and a non-locking position in which the hinge arm is removeable from the mounting plate. The tilting lever engages in slots provided at the sides of the pegs when in the locking position.

A hinge for mounting a door on a frame of an article of furniture includes a mounting plate mountable to the frame, a hinge arm mounted on the mounting plate, and a hinge case mountable to the door end connected to the hinge arm by at least one hinge axle. The mounting plate is fastenable to the frame by at least one fastening screw. The mounting plate is provided with a key hole or a T-shaped hole having a broad first part and a narrow second part. An adjustment screw is mounted in a female thread of the hinge arm and has a head part and a neck part, the neck part being of smaller diameter than a threaded part of the screw. The width of the broad first part of the hole is broader than the diameter of the head part of the adjustment screw and the width of the narrow second part of the hole is less than the diameter of the head part and of the threaded part. The neck part of the adjustment screw is held in the narrow second part of the hole, and the head part abuts a rear side of the mounting plate.

Hinge for an article of furniture with a frame

A frame hinge has a hinge arm which may be secured to a furniture frame and is connected by way of at least one articulation pin to a hinge pot which may be set in a door leaf. The hinge arm is secured to the furniture frame by a base plate. Arranged between the hinge arm and the base plate is an intermediate plate which is held against the base plate by a clamping screw and is articulatedly connected to the hinge arm. The axis of the articulation is aligned perpendicular to the hinge axis and perpendicular to the plane of the closed door leaf. A gap-adjusting screw is held in the base plate and is supported by its thread either in the hinge arm or in the intermediate plate, with the result that when the gap-adjusting screw is turned the hinge arm and the intermediate plate perform an angular movement in relation to one another.

A hinge mounting plate assembly enables mounting on a frame of an article of furniture a door of the article of furniture. The assembly includes a hinge arm which is pivotally mounted to a hinge casing and a mounting plate which is mountable on the frame and securable thereto by a screw. The hinge casing is insertable into a hole in the door. The hinge arm is mounted on the mounting plate by two intermediate members. A first intermediate member is mounted on the mounting plate for longitudinal movement in a horizontal direction in the plane of the closed door. The hinge arm is mounted on a second intermediate member for longitudinal movement in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the plane of the closed door. Clamping screws are provided for clamping the first intermediate member to the mounting plate and the second intermediate member to the hinge arm. Such movements being permitted upon loosening of the clamping screws. The two intermediate members are interlockable with each other.

A frame hinge has a hinge arm which may be secured to a furniture frame and a hinge pot which may be set in a door leaf and is connected to the hinge arm on the frame side by way of at least one articulation pin. The hinge arm is secured to a first wedge plate which, together with a second wedge plate having a wedge surface or wedge surfaces facing in a direction opposite to a wedge surface or surfaces of the first wedge plate, is arranged between the hinge arm and the furniture frame. One of the two wedge plates is movable relative to the other by a Phillips screwdriver.

The support rail is fastened at a front end thereof to a vertical frame member and has at such front end a clamping device which is formed into a U-shape to embrace the vertical frame member.
