An apparatus () for making contact with an electrical conductor (), in particular a cable conductor of a power supply cable, has a connecting body () that delimits a receiving space () into which the conductor () with which contact is to be made can be inserted by way of its end. The apparatus () has a contact medium () with which electrical contact can be made with the end of the conductor () under the action of a contact force. The contact medium () has a large number of electrically conductive contact bodies () introduced into the receiving space () and bearing against one another. At least some of the contact bodies can be brought into electrical contact-making contact with the ends of the conductors ().

A shearable screw () of device () screw-connects electrical connectors (). The device has a thread section () for screwing the shearable screw () into a terminal body (). A plug-in connector element () has at least two contact plates () formed by shaped electrically conductive sheet metal strips. Each contact plate has a connection portion () for the electrical connection of the plug-in connector element () to an electrical line (), a contact portion () for a detachable electrical connection of the plug-in connector element () to an associated connecting element, and a compensating portion () arranged between the connection portion () and the contact portion () for a resilient deflection of the contact portion () with respect to the connection portion (). The connection portion (), the compensating portion () and the contact portion () are integrally formed from the sheet metal strips (). A plug-in connector part has a plurality of plug-in connector elements.

The invention relates to an electrical plug connection element () having a contact member () which can be deformed in a spring-elastic manner and to which the plug connection element () can be electrically connected when it is plug-connected to a further plug connection element (), characterized in that the plug connection element () has a clamping element () by means of which the contact member () and/or a separate spring () which supports the contact member () when contact is made can be deformed in a spring-elastic manner in such a way that the force which is required to plug-connect the plug connection element () to the further plug connection element () is reduced, and in that the action of the clamping element () can be removed by the plug connection element () being plug-connected to the further plug connection element (), and as a result the contact member () can be brought into contact with the further plug connection element () so as to establish an electrical connection by way of the provided contact force.

Electrical plug connection element

A device for plug-connecting first and second electric lines includes a plug element assigned to the first line and having a plug pin. A socket element is assigned to the second line and receives the plug pin in a pin receiver for electrically contact. The socket element has a metal strip forming the second line. On its end facing the plug pin, the metal strip is deformed in a transversal manner with regard to its longitudinal direction while forming the plug receiver. The metal strip is deformed so that the plug pin can be inserted into the plug receiver in a longitudinal direction of the metal strip. Also, the metal strip forms a one-piece plate bar located external to the socket element. Electrical and/or electronic components are applied to the plate bar, and are electrically connected in an at least partial manner to the metal strip.
