Embodiments of golf coupling mechanisms for joining golf club heads and shafts are described herein. The golf coupling mechanism allows for adjustment of a club head loft angle, a club head lie angle, and a golf club shaft length while utilizing one club head and one shaft. In a fully extended configuration, the golf coupling mechanism includes a shaft sleeve, a removable spacer, and a removable extender, wherein a fastening assembly secures the golf coupling mechanism to the golf club head. In a contracted configuration, the golf coupling mechanism includes the shaft sleeve. The golf coupling mechanism further includes a shaft cap to soften the interaction between the shaft and the golf coupling mechanism. The golf coupling mechanism further comprises one or more arcuate coupler sets to frictionally lock the shaft relative to the golf club head.

A golf club head comprises a first rib protruding from an interior surface of the club head, and a second rib protruding from the interior surface of the club head. The first rib comprises a first axis and the second rib comprises a second axis; wherein the first and second rib axes intersect each other forward the front end of the club head body. The club head further comprises a first side rib protruding from the interior surface of the heel end, and a second side rib protruding from the interior surface of the toe end. The first side rib and the second side rib generally extend in a front end to rear end direction, and can be linear or curvilinear. The ribs provide structural support and sound control for the club head.

The deflection feature can include any one of or any combination of an insert comprising a gap or an insert comprising voids. The insert manipulates the mass distribution while allowing face deflection and positively damp vibrations in the club head. The deflection feature can also include a thin uniform sole, a cutout in the top rail, optimized face material, a thin sole, a reinforcement device, or a multi material weight. The reinforcement element transfers stress away from the face into the reinforcement device, allowing face element to bend at impact. The multi material weight is a dual-density weight comprising a higher density weight base portion and a lower density weight shell portion.

Trucks have two axles or axes, two primary wheels, and two secondary wheels, and skateboards have eight wheels, four in front and four at the rear portion of the skateboard. The four primary wheels support most or all of the weight of the skateboard when the skateboard is on a flat surface, and the two secondary wheels support the weight of one portion of the skateboard (e.g., front or rear) when the primary wheels cross a crack (e.g., a sidewalk contraction joint). In various embodiments, the secondary wheels are located outboard of the primary wheels. Further, in a number of embodiments, the axis of rotation or axle of the primary wheels remains parallel to that of the secondary wheels, whether the skateboard is going straight or turning.
