Multipurpose drip irrigation tool

A hose nozzle for spraying fluids is disclosed. The hose nozzle comprises a faceplate rotatable about a central pivot axis to two or more user-selectable rotational orientations. The faceplate comprises an upstream sealing surface and two or more entry openings. A seal member defines a seal opening that comprises a portion of a fluid flow pathway within the hose nozzle. The seal member may comprise a downstream sealing surface.

A system is disclosed to obtain irrigation water consumption data for a water-monitored property. The system may include a non-transitory computer-readable medium and computer code encoded on the non-transitory computer-readable medium, for, among other things, opening and closing each of one or more irrigation valves in accordance with calibration schedule data during a first period of time within one or more daily, weekly, or monthly future time periods when water consumption is not likely to occur or is likely minimal; and calculating a first computed flow rate for each of the one or more irrigation valves based on, among other things, the calibration valve open time and the calibration valve close time. A method and computer program product related to the foregoing system are also disclosed.

Variable pressure regulators and associated methods

A system is disclosed to obtain energy consumption data for an energy monitored property. An identification module is configured to identify, based on first actual energy usage data for the energy-monitored property, one or more daily, weekly, or monthly future time periods when energy consumption is not likely to occur or is likely minimal within the energy-monitored property. A calibration module is configured to transmit electrical signals to open and close at least one of the gas valve and an AC unit switch in accordance with the calibration schedule during a period of time within the one or more daily, weekly, or monthly future periods of time. A computational module may be utilized to calculate a first computed flow rate for the at least one of the gas valve and the AC unit switch. A method and computer program product related to the foregoing system are also disclosed.

Irrigation line couplings are disclosed. The irrigation line couplings may each include a lockable release mechanism that may be positioned in a locked position or a released position. The irrigation line couplings may be incorporated into an irrigation manifold or other type of irrigation component, such as fittings (tees, elbows, etc.), valves, filters, pressure regulators, emitters, and adapters.

A coupling may be configured to receive and secure an insertion end of a conduit. An outer surface of the insertion end of the conduit may be smooth and free of grooves, flanges and beads. A first member of the coupling may define a first passageway. A second member of the coupling may define a second passageway. The first member may be in engagement with the second member. A gripping ring having an inner edge defining a series of teeth may be disposed within the second member. A support ring and O-ring may also be disposed within the second member.

Conduit coupling apparatus and method

A system, method, and device may be used to provide irrigation water consumption data. The system may include an irrigation valve interface and controller that communicates with irrigation valves to open and close the valves. An identification module identifies one or more time periods when water consumption is not likely to occur or is likely minimal and a calibration module opens and closes the irrigation valves according to calibration schedule data. A timestamp module may identify a calibration valve open time and a calibration valve close time for the irrigation valves and a computational module may calculate a computed flow rate for the irrigation valves based on the calibration valve open time, the calibration valve close time, and the actual water usage data that occurred between the calibration valve open time and the calibration valve close time. The computed flow rate may be utilized to identify anomalies and provide notifications thereof.

An irrigation sprinkler is described. The irrigation sprinkler includes a first ring including a first edge defining a first plurality of semicircular recesses and a second ring including a second edge defining a second plurality of semicircular recesses. The first ring and the second ring are secured together to define a plurality of circular recesses. The first ring includes a fin proximate each circular recess. The irrigation sprinkler also includes an adjustment mechanism disposed within each of the circular recesses. Each adjustment mechanism includes an outer rotating member including an annular structure comprising at least one of an annular recess and an annular protrusion, and an internal chamber including inwardly disposed threads. Each adjustment mechanism also includes an inner cylindrical member including an outer surface. The outer surface defines outwardly disposed threads and a channel. The channel extends radially along only a portion of the inner cylindrical member.
