The invention relates to a sheath stop including: a hole through which a window lift cable is to pass; and a sheath abutment for locking the sheath of the window lift cable on one side of the sheath stop and wherein, on the other side of the sheath stop, the sheath stop includes a shaft provided so as to be mounted onto a bracket of the sheath stop such that the sheath stop has a freely rotatable mounting configuration on the bracket. The shaft extends transversely to the main orientation of the passage hole, and the passage hole has a partial side clearance that allows the cable a degree of bending freedom within a plane perpendicular to the shaft when the sheath stop freely pivots about the shaft.

The window lifter having: first and second guide rails; first and second sliders for driving a window, the first and second sliders being guided in translation by the first guide rail and the second guide rail, respectively; a cable system for driving the sliders along the first and second guide rails, the cable system comprising a cable extending between the first and second guide rails for connecting to corresponding ends of the first and second guide rails, respectively, the first guide rail comprising a holder for fastening the cable between the two corresponding ends of the first and second guide rails that the cable connects.

A window regulator device includes a rail having at least one projecting lug, a plate having at least one lug, a drive cable, and a cable drum placed in a recess of the plate. The plate is fixed to the rail by a joint action of a tensioned drive cable and the mutual imbrication of the lugs of the plate and the rail. The assembly of the window regulator device is simplified, and the drum can be fixed independently of the mounting and removal of an actuation motor.
