The general field of the invention is that of the devices for connecting an electronic module in a rack comprising an opening of dimensions close to those of the front face of the module and a seat for fixing and connecting said module, said connection device comprising a first and a second male connector mounted on the rear face of the electronic module; and a first and a second female connector mounted on the fixing seat. In the device according to the invention, the second female connector is mounted in a structure comprising mechanical means for self-centring said second female connector within a clearance range greater than the mechanical positioning tolerances and elastic means arranged so as to hold said second female connector in position. These various means are arranged in such a way as to be able to ensure the blind electrical connection of the electronic module in the rack, its front face resting on the opening.

Connector technology for embedded electronic equipment with two connectors

The general field of the invention is that of electrical and mechanical connection devices for an electronic module in a rack, the electronic module comprising a first connector and the rack comprising a second connector complementing the first connector. In the connection device according to the invention, the first connector is mounted in a lateral recess on the side of the module, the second connector is mounted with free rotation in the rack on supports which also include a locking handle for ensuring the electrical and mechanical connection of the module in the rack. This device applies particularly to the display devices mounted on aircraft instrument panels.

Electrical and mechanical connection device for an electronic module in a rack

An electronic module is designed to be slotted into an aircraft instrument panel. The module has: a rear face and a front face that are substantially flat and parallel. Means are provided for attaching the module to the instrument panel. The attachments are situated on the front face of the module. At least one connector-module is attached on the rear face of the electronic module and can be plugged into a socket mounted on the panel as the electronic module is guided into position on the panel. The direction of plugging in the connector-module situated on the rear face is substantially in the plane of the rear face. The support comprises guidance and rotation means making it possible to guide, plug in and insert the module into the instrument panel.

Device for connecting an electronic housing in a holder through at least two translation movements

The field of the invention is that of connector sockets for electronic boards providing both electrical and optical connection. These connectors are more specifically dedicated to aeronautical applications. The invention relates to a connector socket for an electronic board comprising a mechanical frame, electrical contacts and at least one rigid optical contact placed in a seat of the mechanical frame, the optical contact being essentially comprised of one or two optomechanical ferrules. The inventive socket makes it possible to avoid the use of linking optical fibers between the socket and the optoelectronic conversion modules, while eliminating the drawbacks of integrating of optoelectronic conversion devices in the socket.

Plug connector having electric and optical contacts

A connector fitted with input and/or output cables of the coaxial or similar type, configured to be secured to the wall of an electrical apparatus. The connector includes a metal reinforcement having tabs that are inserted and gripped, at their ends, between a fastening plate attached to the connector and the wall of the electrical apparatus. The rear wall of the reinforcement has openings allowing the cables to pass through them. The cables have a stripped region soldered to the rear part of the reinforcement at the openings, to establish ground continuity between the shields of the cables and the wall of the electrical apparatus supporting the connector. A method produces and fits such a connector.
