The invention concerns a connecting device for anastomosis of a vascular prosthesis to a tubular conduit in which a lateral or terminal opening has been formed, the prosthesis including, at a connecting end, a turned-back portion forming an annular layer whose free edge is adapted to be pressed onto the immediate vicinity of the rim of the tubular conduit. The connecting device includes a set of fasteners each of which is adapted to press the annular layer onto the rim of the opening. It further includes an annular support along which the fasteners are distributed. The fitting device includes a connecting device and a releasable holding mechanism for holding the fasteners in the open position. The implant comprises a vascular prosthesis and a fitting device.

An endoprosthesis includes an extensible tubular mesh embedded in a plastic or elastomer extensible film. A tool for positioning the endoprosthesis includes a tube-shaped guide provided at its distal end with a tulip-shaped housing. A device for treating a blood vessel comprises an outer sheath (10) containing, on the one hand, an endoprosthesis (1) whose distal end is equipped with a cord (4), and, on the other hand, a support (9). The distal end of the endoprosthesis (1) is connected to the support (9) in a separable manner by way of the cord (4). The device is used for the treatment of arterial atheroma.

An instrument for vascular surgery includes a deformable cylindrical sleeve whose proximal end is integral with a distal end of a sheath and whose distal end is integral with a distal and of a catheter contained in the sheath. The sleeve can pass from a contracted state to a dilated state, and vice versa, by exerting a reciprocating movement on the catheter in relation to the sheath. The sleeve is made up of a latticework embedded in an envelope. This instrument can be used for the dilation or temporary occlusion of a blood vessel, or for performing an embolectomy.
