The invention relates to a cooling system for a fuel cell (), comprising a main heat-transfer-fluid circuit including a main circulation pump () and a heat exchanger () with the exterior, which feed an upstream pipe () supplying the fluid to the cells () of the fuel cell, said fluid leaving the cells via a downstream pipe () in order to return to the main pump. The system is characterised in that a secondary circuit, comprising a secondary circulation device () that circulates the fluid in an alternate manner, is connected in parallel with the main circuit to the upstream () and downstream () pipes and in that one or more controlled valves () allow the main circuit and the secondary circuit to operate independently.

Cooling system for a fuel cell

A gas compression system includes at least one first compressor provided with at least one first cylinder and one second cylinder that are combined together such that a gas to be compressed, which is taken into the first cylinder at an intake pressure, is compressed by the intake of an engine gas to the second cylinder. The system further includes a pressure checking device to check the pressure of the engine gas during the feeding thereof into the second cylinder. The pressure checking device includes a pressure detector for measuring the pressure of the gas to be compressed during the intake thereof to the first cylinder; and a regulator for adjusting the flow rate of the engine gas in the second cylinder such that the pressure of the gas to be compressed is constant during the intake thereof to the first cylinder.

Gas compression system

The invention relates to a cooling system for a fuel cell, comprising a main heat-transfer-fluid circuit including a circulation pump () and a heat exchanger () with the exterior, which feed an upstream pipe () supplying the fluid to the cells () of the fuel cell, said fluid leaving the cells via a downstream pipe () in order to return to the main pump. The invention is characterized in that the main circuit comprises a three-port controlled valve () on each upstream () and downstream () pipe, the third available port () of the upstream pipe () being connected to the inlet of the pump () and the third available port () of the downstream pipe () being connected to the outlet of the pump in order to establish a secondary fluid circuit.

The method for storing a fuel cell comprises a first calibration phase of a reference membrane by nuclear magnetic resonance to obtain a progression curve of the maximum water load of the fuel cell membrane versus the temperature of the membrane, and a second calibration phase of a standard reference cell to obtain a relationship between the electrical resistance of the standard reference cell, the water load of its membrane and its temperature. The method then comprises a drying phase dependent on the two calibration phases.
