The invention relates to plant extracts for stimulating the synthesis of hyaluronan synthase, particularly the synthesis of hyaluronan synthase 2 (HAS2). Specific aims of the invention are to increase firmness and/or elasticity and/or tissue moisturization, and/or increase the skin barrier effect, and/or increase tissue resilience, and/or modulate angiogenesis, or the neocreation of blood capillaries, and/or improve healing, and/or cell proliferation, migration or differentiation, and/or skin atrophy, and/or intended to combat the effects of ageing on the skin, and in particular to combat the loss of firmness of the skin observed in the course of ageing, and/or atrophied scars.

The present invention relates to a method for protecting the skin against UV rays, using at least two cosmetic skincare and/or make-up compositions, comprising: The liposoluble UV filter is preferably in the second composition. The present invention relates to a method for protecting the skin against UV rays, using two cosmetic compositions for protecting against UV rays, the sun protection indices of which are different from each other, this method consisting in applying to the skin, before or during exposure to sunlight, a first composition having a certain sun protection index, and then in applying, during exposure to sunlight, onto the residual deposit of the first composition, the second cosmetic composition having a sun protection index lower than that of the first composition. This method advantageously makes it possible to not reapply the first composition, but to use a second product that is much more pleasant to use, while at the same time obtaining the level of protection afforded by the deposit of the initial first composition. The invention also relates to a sun protection kit comprising a first composition for protecting against UV rays having a sun protection index of greater than or equal to 30, and at least a second cosmetic composition for protecting against UV rays, having a sun protection index of less than or equal to 20, the two compositions being packaged separately.

Cosmetic kit for protecting the skin against UV rays

A composition includes from 40 to 80% by weight of at least one non-volatile hydrogenated polyalkylene oil; from 10 to 50% by weight of at least one tertiary-amide-terminated polyamide (ATPA) polymer; and further at least one fatty acid ester having at least one free hydroxyl group, and preferably a hydroxystearate ester. The invention relates to substances which are capable of protecting FGF-2, to a composition for preventing or controlling degradation of FGF-2, and a method of protecting FGF-2 in the skin from degradation. In particular, the invention relates to an extract ofor ambrette, a rebokza extract, a gougizi berry extract, a banha extract, aextract, a mustard flour extract, a wooyin extract, a barley extract, and/or a sesame extract, in amounts effective to protect FGF-2 from its degradation. Further, the present invention allows the extracellular matrix to be restructured, particularly at the dermis, which is useful, for example, for controlling aging.

Use of substances to protect FGF-2 or FGF-beta growth factor

A make-up composition is for the skin, is prepared by a process and used in a makeup method. The cosmetic composition is intended for making up the skin. The composition has from 75 to 98% by weight of a powder or a mixture of powders, as well as at least one cosmetically acceptable fatty phase having at least one oil. The subject of the invention is the use of an extract ofin combination with a salt, for masking the bitterness of bitter compounds in cosmetic or dermatological compositions.
