This disclosure is directed towards a patient management system for selectively storing and/or sharing patient data. A wearable device may sense a condition associated with the wearer of the wearable device, and store values based on the condition for a period of time. The wearable device may determine that the wearable device is within range of another device, such that the wearable device can communicate with the other device, and output the values to the other device. Additionally, a computing device of the patient management system may receive, from a wearable device, first data associated with a condition of a wearer of the wearable device. The computing device may also receive second data associated with the condition from a sensing device. The computing device may determine a context of the wearer based on comparing the first and second data, and control output of an alert based on the context.

Patient management based on sensed inputs

Software of devices, such as medical devices or other constrained devices configured to implement specific functions, can use content files to determine text strings or other content values to present in association with user interface elements. Devices can receive relevant content files, such as new versions of previously-stored content files or new content files containing text in different languages, from a remote content file repository. The software of the devices can accordingly update content values presented in user interfaces based on newly received content files, without the software being re-coded, the software being restarted, or the devices rebooting.

Remote management of device user interface content

An apparatus for producing a fundus image includes: a processor and a memory; an illumination component including a light source and operatively coupled to the processor; a camera including a lens and operatively coupled to the processor, wherein the memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the apparatus to: execute an automated script for capture of the fundus image; and allow for manual capture of the fundus image.

A system for identifying a location of a device is described. The system includes a patient support device and a healthcare apparatus connected to the patient support device. The healthcare apparatus has a plurality of sensor devices and a scanner device. The scanner device is able to scan machine-readable labels to identify a patient identifier and a device identifier. A server is configured to determine a location of the patient support device using the patient identifier and device identifier.

Identification of device location in healthcare facility

A medical facility environment includes medical devices, single-sign on system devices, and an identity access management system (IAMS). A clinician logs into an electronic medical record system and/or facility workstation, typically at the start of a shift. Successful login opens a valid user session with the IAMS. Thereafter, clinicians having valid user sessions can record, save, and/or transmit patient vital signs by providing, only, a clinician identifier associated with the valid user session.

Medical environment single sign-on system

A system for maintaining medical devices includes: a computing device including memory and a processor that, when executing instructions stored on the memory, creates a user interface including: a health module providing a summary of a maintenance status of the medical devices; a location module providing a summary of a location of the medical devices; and a maintenance alert module providing a list of the medical devices needing maintenance, the list including a type of maintenance needed for each of the medical devices in the list.
