A multifunctional center console system for a vehicle is disclosed. The multifunctional center console system includes a multifunctional center console, which may include a main body configured to be mounted to a vehicle within an interior of the vehicle. The main body of the multifunctional center console may have at least top, bottom, front and rear portions and first and second side portions disposed between at least the front and rear portions. The multifunctional center console may further include at least one portable body configured to be removably attached to the main body. The at least one portable body of the multifunctional center console may have at least top, bottom, front and rear portions and first and second side portions disposed between at least the front and rear portions. The at least one portable body of the multifunctional center console may include at least one functional feature.

Multifunctional center console system for a vehicle

An air bag guide for a motor vehicle, includes a molded component defining a guide channel with an exit opening so the air bag can exit from the guide channel. The molded component is a thermoplastic material or a thermoplastic matrix and includes an insert inserted into the molded component. A first section of the insert, connects the insert with the molded component. A second section hingedly connects to the first section that is movable and opens under the action of the air bag upon exiting the guide channel then closes the exit opening. The insert is of the same thermoplastic material as the molded component or includes the same thermoplastic matrix and is self-reinforcing at least in the second section.

Air bag assembly with an air bag guide and an interior trim component and method for producing the same

An interior paneling component for motor vehicles is disclosed which includes a structural part with a deployment channel for a covering for an airbag, which upon deployment is expelled in a deployment direction through the deployment channel from the interior paneling component. The airbag covering is at least in part reinforced with an insert made from a thermoplastic material. The insert and the structural part are at least partially made from thermoplastic material in the same family plastics. The invention also refers to a method of producing such an interior paneling component.

The present invention provides an airbag guide with a covering which comprises a lid () and an airbag guide () which are connected to each other by a hinge (). In the fitted state, the lid () is clamped between the airbag guide () and the edge region of the outlet opening () for the airbag.
