Large numbers of files having widely varying structures and formats may be ingested, and used to generate dynamic slot indexes that enable fast and reliable searching of the files. Unique data patterns within the files are used to generate unique pattern models, which enable model-specific mappings of file fields to slots of a dynamic slot index. Accordingly, the dynamic slot indexes may reuse a single slot for multiple fields. Complex queries may then be processed in a time-efficient and resource-efficient manner, even when rapidly ingesting huge numbers of files having indeterminate data patterns from many different sources.

Index generation and use with indeterminate ingestion patterns

A cloud-native proxy gateway is reachable from a central server and from an isolated cloud VM. A method allows legacy (non-cloud native) solutions to establish a secure connection to the isolated cloud VM, even when incoming port flows are not enabled. The method involves transforming a TCP/IP network connection request into a cloud API call, ignoring IP addresses, and instead using a unique cloud resource identifier as the primary network routing methodology. In response to a communication connection request by the central server, the isolated VM establishes a reverse tunnel to the cloud-native proxy gateway. Communication flow initiated by the central server proceeds through the reverse tunnel to the isolated VM, avoiding an issue of duplicate IP addresses in the cloud.

Cloud-native proxy gateway to cloud resources

A method for cleansing a desired skin surface, and a device therefor, can include a base to house a jar for the cleansing liquid, a jar for the removed liquid and debris, a pump to deliver the cleansing liquid to a wand applicator, and a pump to suction the cleansing liquid and debris removed from the desired skin surface. The two pumps can be driven by separate motors to allow a user to separately control the amount of liquid dispensed and the magnitude of the suction force applied. The device can also include an infusion enhancer that assists in the opening of the pores of the desired skin surface or by tightening the desired skin surface. The device can further include a self-cleaning tip that allows a cleaning solution to be immediately recycled through the system into the jar for the removed liquid and debris.

Search data curation and enrichment for deployed technology

Connecting an IoT device enabling a new function of another IoT device. An IoT hub scans a network segment for presence of an IoT device. Upon detecting the IoT device, a device response pattern is received. The device response pattern is compared with stored response patterns. A matching stored response pattern is selected which has a similarity to the device response pattern. A pattern difference is derived. Related device information is transformed into a device signature for the IoT device. The device signature is transferred to a discovery engine. The device signature is compared to stored signatures and protocol information. A matching stored signature and protocol information is transferred to the IoT hub. The IoT hub compares the new function with functions of other connected IoT devices. Upon finding a matching other IoT device, the other IoT device is offered a usage of the new function and protocol information.

Discovery of IoT devices

A method, and associated computer system and computer program product, for notifying users of events. A notification server that includes a computer receives a notification rule. The notification server generates, for the received notification rule, a unique identifier for communication. The notification server receives an indication of an IT event that occurred in a source computing device. The received notification identifies a software hug associated with the IT event. The notification rule is a condition of a severity level of the software bug exceeding a predefined threshold. The notification server determines whether the received indication satisfies the notification rule. In response to determining that the received indication satisfies the notification rule, the notification server marks the received event, using the unique identifier and broadcasting the marked event for receipt by those users who have access to said unique identifier.

Event notification

A packet is analyzed at an outbound end of a tunnel from a first data network to determine whether the packet is directed to a first remote target in a first remote data network over a first tunnel or to a second remote target in a second remote data network over a second tunnel. A target address of the packet is present in both the first remote data network and the second remote data network. When the packet is to be directed to the first remote target in the first remote data network, an octet in the target address of the packet is changed from a first value to a second value, the changing forming a modified packet. When the second value is stored in the octet, the modified packet is caused to be sent to the tunnel for delivery to the second data network.

Routing packets in multiple destination networks with overlapping address spaces

A method and system for determining work ticket priority is provided. The method includes enabling a work ticket for a work assignment associated with an entity. The work ticket is assigned an initial priority value. Relevant data from multiple sources is associated with the work ticket and an updated priority value is requested. In response, multiple priority scores for the work ticket with respect to additional work tickets are published to an enterprise service bus (ESB) and an aggregate score for work ticket is calculated from the multiple priority scores.

Prioritizing workload

Systems and techniques for identifying a common change window for one or more services implemented on one or more hosts include querying time series performance data for each host of a service to identify time slots of low resource consumption on the host, annotating the time slots with service tags, where the service tags identify host information and service information, creating groups of time slots using the service tags, using dynamic clustering to create clusters of hosts using the groups of time slots, and generating at least one common change window by eliminating duplicate hosts from the clusters of the hosts.

Identifying change windows for performing maintenance on a service

A method, and associated computer system and computer program product, for notifying users of events. A notification server that includes a computer receives a notification rule.
