A cord set comprises: electric-vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) comprising circuitry, the EVSE having a receptacle; a first charging gun coupled to an end of a first cord, wherein a first connector is coupled to an opposite end of the first cord, and wherein the first connector is configured to be coupled with the receptacle for vehicle-to-vehicle charging; a second charging gun coupled to an end of a second cord, wherein an opposite end of the second cord is coupled to the EVSE; and a grid cord, wherein a second connector is coupled to an end of the grid cord, and wherein the second connector is configured to be coupled with the receptacle for grid-to-vehicle charging.

A vehicle comprises: a vehicle body having a front and a rear; a vehicle chassis supporting the vehicle body, the vehicle chassis including a chassis portion; a component attached to the front of the vehicle body; and a member comprising (i) an elongate portion having teeth, and (ii) an attachment portion attaching the member to one of the chassis portion or the component, wherein the member is configured for ratcheting of the teeth against an edge of the other of the chassis portion or the component due to relative movement between the component and the chassis portion.

A light detection and ranging (lidar) system is provided that is incorporated into a vehicle and which is configured to efficiently adapt to varying road conditions as well as potential obstacles that may lie in the vehicle's pathway. The system employs a spatial light modulator (SLM) to create a plurality of illumination zones within the system's field of view. The SLM allows the lidar system to alter the size of each illumination zone as well as the light intensity within each of the zones as required by road conditions and potential obstacles.

An adaptive light module for incorporation into a vehicle's headlight assembly is provided, where the light module may be incorporated as a single unit, or incorporated as one of a plurality of units. The light module, which uses an LED array, collimating optics, illumination and projection micro-lens-arrays (HLAs), is configured to allow tailoring of the illumination intensity distribution by selectively activating/deactivating subsets of the LED array.
