A door damper assembly that includes a housing, a damper that includes a fixed end and a movable end disposed within the housing, a carriage assembly that is movable within the housing between a closed position and an open position, a claw assembly pivotably attached to the carriage assembly, and a spring positioned to bias the carriage assembly to the closed position. The movable end of the damper is secured to the carriage assembly. The claw assembly is movable with the carriage assembly between the closed position and the open position. The claw assembly is movable relative to the carriage assembly between a non-toggle position and a toggle position. The claw assembly includes a pin receiving space defined therein that defines a claw axis that is generally vertical when the claw is in the non-toggle position and not vertical when the claw assembly is in the toggle position.

A door latch assembly configured to be used in an aircraft lavatory door. The door latch assembly includes a housing that includes a housing interior, a switch member operatively associated with the housing that is rotatable between a first position and a second position, and a locking bolt that is movable linearly between an unlocked position and a locked position. Rotation of the switch member from the first position to the second position moves the locking bolt from the unlocked position to the locked position.

Aircraft lavatory door latch

A toilet module attachment assembly that includes a retainer member that is adapted to be secured to a wall. The retainer member includes a wall attachment flange and a press fit portion extending generally inwardly from the wall attachment flange. When the retainer member is secured to a wall a channel is defined between the wall and the press fit portion. The attachment assembly also includes a seal member that includes a bulge portion that is received in the channel of the retainer member.

Toilet module attachment assembly and method of use

A latch system that includes a paddle button assembly having a button that is movable between home and actuation positions, a latch assembly that includes a striker assembly with a striker and a hook assembly, and a cable that extends between the paddle button and latch assembly. The hook assembly includes a hook, a pivotal trigger arm, and a manual override switch that is movable between first and second positions when the trigger arm is moved from an engaged position to a disengaged position. Movement of the button from the home position to the actuation position pushes or pulls the cable, thereby pivoting the trigger arm from the engaged to the disengaged position and disengaging the hook from the striker. Pivotal movement of the trigger arm from the engaged to the disengaged position results in linear movement of the manual override switch from the first to the second position.

Overhead storage bin latch system

A switch system that includes a switch assembly with a housing having a bottom surface that includes a latch pocket defined therein. The latch pocket includes a top surface and the housing defines an interior that includes either a magnetic switch or a magnet disposed therein. One of the magnetic switch or magnet is positioned adjacent the top surface of the latch pocket in the other is associated with the distal end of latch bolt. The system also includes a latch bolt. When the latch bolt is in the unlatched position it is not received in the latch pocket, the magnetic switch is in the first state and an electrical component is in a first state. When the latch bolt is in the latched position it is received in the latch pocket, the magnetic switch is in the second state and the electrical component is switched to a second state.

A door module for a vehicle lavatory that includes a bi-fold door having a first panel and a second panel each having an inner surface and an outer surface. The first and second panels are pivotably connected together by a living hinge. The living hinge includes a hinge member that extends between first and second securing members, wherein the first securing member extends along and is attached to an inner edge of the first panel and the second securing member extends along and is attached to an inner edge of the second panel.

A door for an aircraft includes a first panel divisible into at least two first slats that are releasably connected to one another, a first tensioning cable attached between the at least two first slats, and a first tensioner connected to the first tensioning cable and being operative to apply a first tension thereto, thereby permitting the first tensioning cable to hold the at least two first slats together to form the first panel and to release the first tension in the first tensioning cable upon occurrence of a release action, thereby permitting the at least two first slats to dissociate from one another so that the first panel fragments.

A console assembly for use on a flight deck of an aircraft includes, but is not limited to, a console having a recess. The recess has an opening. The console assembly further includes a mounting assembly mounted within the recess. The console assembly further includes a support surface mounted to the mounting assembly. The console assembly further includes a closeout panel that is mounted to the support surface. The support surface fits within the recess. The mounting assembly facilitates movement of the support surface between a retracted and a deployed position. The support surface is disposed within the recess while in the retracted position and outside of the recess while in the deployed position. The closeout panel is disposed at a location on the support surface that causes the closeout panel to close the opening of the recess when the support surface is in the retracted position.

Pivotal movement of the trigger arm from the engaged position to the disengaged position results in linear movement of the indicator from the first position to the second position.

An aircraft storage bin that includes an upper housing and a bucket movable with respect to the upper housing between a closed position and an open position. The upper housing and the bucket cooperate to define a bin interior. The bucket includes a bottom and first and second opposing side walls. The bottom of the bucket includes an outer surface, an inner surface, a front edge, and first and second protrusions protruding into the bin interior. The first protrusion defines a first luggage engaging surface and the second protrusion defines a second luggage engaging surface. The first protrusion includes an inner surface and an outer surface that defines a channel. The channel includes at least a portion of a latch button assembly disposed therein. The first and second cables extend outwardly from the latch button assembly and through the channel. The bucket includes a cover further partially defining the channel.
