A device for securing one or more units includes a first component and a second component configured to couple to the first component. The first component includes a body that has an elongated shape and a head that is connected to an upper longitudinal end of the body. The head includes a part that is configured to be rotationally engaged by a tool. The first component also includes a retainer at a lower longitudinal end of the body. The first component further includes an elastic latch formed in a thickness of the body. The elastic latch includes a tab that has an upper end connected to the body and a free lower end. The elastic latch is configured to cooperate with complementary means of one or both of the second component or the one or more units.

Fastening clip device configured to secure a door module to a door frame of a vehicle

A fastener includes a head configured to be anchored to a part, and a locking member extending from the head to a distal end. The locking member has at least one protrusion spaced from the head, and a tool engaging head at the distal end. In use, the locking member extends through an opening of a panel such that the head is retained on a first side of the panel, the distal end is disposed on a second side of the panel, and the at least one protrusion abuts the second side of the panel to secure the panel to the fastener. The fastener includes a resiliently deformable portion arranged such that rotation of the tool engaging head deforms the resiliently deformable portion and moves the at least one protrusion out of abutment with the second side of the panel to release the panel from the fastener.

Fastener and a part having the same

A fastener assembly is configured to securely couple to one or more components. The fastener assembly includes a retaining clip, and a fluid-tight housing coupled to the retaining clip. The fluid-tight housing is configured to provide fluid-tight interfaces with the retaining clip and the one or more components. The fluid tight housing includes an outer cap and an outwardly-flared skirt extending from the outer cap. The fluid-tight housing further includes couplers extending downwardly from the fluid-tight housing on opposite sides of the fluid-tight housing.

A device for securing a first unit to a second unit includes a first component having a body and a head. The body is configured to be inserted in at least one of a first orifice of the first unit and a second orifice of the second unit. The first component includes a retainer at a lower longitudinal end of the body. A second component is configured to couple to the first component. At least one of the first and second components includes at least one cam surface and the other of the first and second components includes at least one follower configured to cooperate with the at least one cam surface, and to transform a rotational movement of the first component into a longitudinal translation movement of the first component in relation to the second component so that the retainer bears on the lower surface of the second unit.

The present invention relates to a clip for fastening a panel on a support, in particular for an automobile equipment. The clip comprises a core and a cage forming two separate parts centered on a central axis. The core includes a head and a body. The body has an outer profile forming an helix, slender on either side of the inflection plane transverse to the central axis. The cage includes a base surrounding the head and a torsion bar housed in the core. The core and the torsion bar include complementary means for rotational securing around the central axis. The bar is elastically deformed during a rotation of the core around the central axis. The invention also relates to a method for implementing such a clip, as well as a motor vehicle comprising such a clip.

The invention concerns a fastener comprising a head and a foot comprising a rigid core and three curved flexible wings each joining said rigid core along one side, having opposite a face of said core an inside surface bordered by a longitudinal edge and by a transverse edge, and having an outside surface respectively tapering towards a pointed end which is an opposite end to said head and towards said transverse edge, on respective opposite sides of an inflection plane, each said wing being configured to bend by elastic deformation towards said core; said core comprising a hub and three small walls extending radially from said hub, whereby said core is star-shaped in cross-section; and said inside surface of each said wing is bordered by a said respective small wall which is remotely opposite said longitudinal edge.

An obturator for an opening of predetermined outline produced in a metal sheet comprising a cap, at least one stiff wall projecting transversely of said cap and at least one snap-fastening blade having a resting position in the absence of urging in which it extends in a direction parallel to said cap, said snap-fastening blade being moveable parallel to said cap against elastic return forces returning it towards said resting position, said snap-fastening blade having an insertion cant adapted to bear on the surface of said metal sheet delimiting said opening when the obturator is pushed therein, said insertion cant sloping relative to a direction transverse to said cap such that said snap-fastening blade is driven to displace to pass through said opening and that slope progressively increasing between said attachment end and said free end.

A fastener for fixing a panel to a support is provided with a snapping-in foot adapted to contract elastically to enter a fixing orifice of the support. The fastener is further provided with a head having a plate, a hub, a shank and a deformable member, the plate and the hub being connected by the shank adapted to be received in a keyhole-shaped groove of the panel formed within the thickness of the panel in which the member and the hub are adapted to be received. The fastener also has a deformable rim including a plurality of arcs and deformable arms, each disposed between one of the arcs and the hub.

Releasable fastener assembly for preferred use in a vehicle

An article includes an articulation pin (4) engaged in first and second elements (2,3A), to secure the same together, with a tongue and groove respectively formed in the elements and pin to prevent relative rotation. A blocking arrangement fixes the second element and the pin to prevent relative rotation when they are in a predefined relative axial and angular position. The first and second elements (2,3A) and also the pin (4) cooperate so that the application of a force between the first elements (2) and the second element (3A) at least equal to a predetermined threshold, when the pin (4) and the second element (3A) are in the predefined relative axial and angular position, produces a relative axial movement between the pin and the second element, freeing the blocking arrangement so that the pin is free to rotate in the second element.
