An automated teller machine (ATM) server includes a processor circuit and a memory including machine-readable instructions that cause the server processor circuit to, based on receipt transaction request messages, cause a transaction fee to be debited from a credit account that is associated with an account identifier contained in the transaction request message. A portion of the transaction fee is credited to a prize pool for a progressive jackpot, and the ATM server determines when a triggering condition has been satisfied by content of one of the transaction request messages for one of the ATM transactions. When the triggering condition has been satisfied for a particular one of the transaction request messages, an award message is transmitted including an instruction to award a portion of the prize pool to a user associated with the transaction request message.

A gaming device having a primary game and a secondary game is provided. The gaming device includes a primary game, such as blackjack or 21 operable on a wager by a player, and an optional secondary game that is operable on a secondary game wager by a player. After placing a secondary game wager and satisfying certain criteria in the primary game, one or more players are provided with a secondary game card to be used in the secondary game. The secondary game is resolved after a player has accumulated a plurality of secondary game cards over the course of several sequentially played rounds of the primary game.

A gaming system having a gaming table and including a progressive jackpot funded by a portion of the house rake of a card game played at the gaming table. The gaming system includes a tracking system capable of identifying and tracking cards dealt and wagers placed in order to identify frequent players and provide complimentary items accordingly. The gaming system is also capable of notifying a player at a remote gaming device that a seat at the gaming table is open.

System and method for providing poker player tracking and bonus events

Methods and systems for providing a universal bonus within a gaming environment are disclosed. Such systems include universal bonuses that are made available to patrons of both gaming machines and other non-gaming machine gaming venues, such as gaming tables. Systems can include a gaming machine, a gaming table, and a universal system server. Tracking devices at both the gaming machines and gaming tables or other gaming venues facilitate the tracking of gaming events that give rise to the eligibility of a player to participate in the universal bonus. The same singular universal bonus is then made available to players playing entirely different games and/or at different gaming venues. Incorporated into the system are considerations for including slot machines, video poker machines, blackjack tables, poker tables, craps tables, roulette tables, keno lounges, sports books and other wager based games offered by a casino or other gaming establishment.
