An example system includes a processor to assign a first medical exam to a first examiner based on a workload availability threshold for the first examiner and an examiner availability indicator for the first examiner. The processor can deliver the first medical exam to one of a reading tool displayed via a first graphical user interface or an examiner work queue displayed via a second graphical user interface. The processor can automatically adjust a workload availability threshold for a second examiner and the first examiner based on a first adjustment, assign a second medical exam to the first examiner or the second examiner based on the respective adjusted work availability thresholds for the first examiner and the second examiner, and auto-serve additional medical exams to the first examiner or the second examiner based on a priority level of the additional medical exams.

Systems and methods for intelligent radiology work allocation

An example system to distribute a medical exam to an examiner includes a first interface to display a medical exam identifier associated with a medical exam stored in a patient record database and an examiner availability indicator to be displayed via the first interface. The examiner availability indicator is to be updated via a second interface. The example system includes an exam allocator to automatically allocate the medical exam to the examiner and an assignment tool to be displayed to a user via the first interface and to facilitate assignment of the allocated exam to the examiner. At least one of the exam allocator or the assignment tool is to be communicatively associated with the examiner availability indicator. Upon assignment of the medical exam to the examiner, the medical exam identifier is displayed in an examiner work queue via the first interface, the second interface, and a third interface.

Example methods, systems, and computer readable media are disclosed to allocate a medical exam. An example method includes identifying an exam characteristic associated with the medical exam. The example method includes determining a plurality of allocation scores for a plurality of radiologists by comparing the exam characteristic to a radiologist characteristic for each of the plurality of radiologists. The example method includes determining one of the plurality of allocation scores with a highest value. The example method includes allocating the medical exam to one of the plurality of radiologists associated with the one of the plurality of allocation scores with the highest value. The example method includes marking the medical exam as allocated to the one of the plurality of radiologists associated with the one of the plurality of allocation scores with the highest value. The example method includes providing an indication that the medical exam is allocated via a graphical user interface.

Systems and methods to optimize radiology exam distribution

An example system to manage a radiologist workflow includes a first interface to monitor a distribution status of at least one medical exam. The medical exam is to be at least one of automatically allocated or assigned to an examiner work queue based on one or more rules. The example system includes a second interface to view at least one metric associated with distribution of the at least one medical exam and an assignment tool to be displayed via the first interface. The assignment tool is to facilitate assignment of the medical exam to an examiner work queue. The example system includes a rules viewer to be displayed via a third interface. The rules viewer is to facilitate configuration of the one or more rules based on the distribution status, the at least one metric, or the assignment. The rules viewer is to automatically update the one or more rules.

Systems and methods for workflow modification through metric analysis

A multi-level information display system graphically represents clinical information for a user. The system includes a user interface providing clinical content to a user and accepting user input with respect to clinical content. The system also includes a graphical summary representation of a patient-related clinical data value. The graphical summary representation has one or more visible characteristics indicating an importance of the patient-related clinical data value. The system also includes a thumbnail trend view providing a graph of data elements used to provide the patient-related clinical data value shown in the graphical summary representation. The system further includes an originating data view retrieving and displaying, via the user interface, a source document corresponding to at least one data element on the graph shown in the thumbnail trend view. The various views are displayed via the user interface based on user manipulation of a cursor with respect to the displayed views.

Method and apparatus for dynamic multiresolution clinical data display

Systems and methods for multi-dimensional, value-based clinical care path decision support are provided. A system includes a care decision subsystem to receive a patient problem and at least one clinical patient attribute, to identify a plurality of patient care path options for evaluation by the patient and a provider, and to generate a mashup of patient-specific criteria including clinical efficacy, cost, and access associated with each of the plurality of patient care path options. Each of the plurality of patient care path options can be utilized in an evaluation with respect to an objective associated with the patient problem. A user interface displays the plurality of patient care path options and associated mashup of patient-specific criteria to facilitate a data-driven selection of at least one of the plurality of patient care path options based on comparative efficacy, cost, and access tailored to the patient.

The notification engine is adapted to determine a prediction based at least in part on the sequence of data values.
