A method includes providing a server having a system email address for receiving emails and including a processor and a memory coupled to the processor and defining a database organized to store data for a plurality of customer matters, respective matters having matter numbers, and, for each matter, the database including a notes location associated with the matter; providing a graphical user interface using which a user can review information relating to matters, including notes; determining, in response to receiving an email having a subject line and body, if the email contains a matter number matching a database matter number and, if not, rejecting the email; and if the email is not rejected, routing at least a portion of the non-rejected email to the notes location of the matter. Systems and methods for handling email in a customer management system

A method of authenticating a user of a multifunction device to a server, the method comprising associating a user-supplied image with user login credentials, using a server; receiving, at the server, an image uploaded from the multifunction device; and comparing the uploaded image to the user-supplied image, using the server, and, only if the uploaded image matches the user-supplied image, allowing the user of the multifunction device to authenticate to the server by providing additional login credentials to the server using the multifunction device.

User authentication systems and methods

A method includes providing a server including a memory and a processor coupled to the memory; defining a plurality of databases in the memory, the databases including fields for respective client matters, and the databases including a plurality of notes for respective matters, the notes including text, and the databases including a plurality of buzzwords; associating respective buzzwords with descriptive pages; generating a user interface including a text editing screen area in which a user can type text for a note, the text including a plurality of terms; comparing terms to the buzzwords and, in response to a term matching a buzzword, indicating that the matching term is a buzzword in the user interface. A system includes an OAI gateway; and a main server coupled to the OAI gateway via a network, and configured to be accessed by client workstations, the main server including: an OAI listener coupled to the OAI gateway; a notification server coupled to the OAI listener; and a memory defining a database and coupled to the OAI listener; the main server being configured to present to a workstation a user-fillable intake form having a plurality of questions, to be filled by an intake clerk, and the main server configured to receive answers to the questions from the workstation, and to present a score total to the workstation indicating whether to accept the potential customer, the score total varying depending on the received answers; and the system being configured to perform an automated action in response to the score total being above or below a predetermined threshold value. Database searching based on user-definable parameters and automated notifications in response to scores

A method includes recording data about an advertising campaign; converting the data about advertising campaigns into ad time slot data including a time range in which a broadcast program runs and average number of times the advertisements run during the time range; and selectively generating an output visually indicating cost of advertisements versus time of day, number of intakes versus time of day, and cost of the advertisements versus time of day. A method includes defining a database accessible to a plurality of users having respective user IDs and organized to include information for a plurality of matters, respective matters having case numbers, and, for each matter, the database include fields configured to store a name of a client, and fields describing the client, a files location associated with the matter, and a notes location associated with the matter, the database further including reports locations associated with respective users; in response to receiving an email having a subject line, body, and attachment: determining whether the email subject line contains a case number matching a case number in the database and, if so: detaching the attachment from the email and placing the attachment in the files location associated with the matter matching the case number. Systems and methods for email attachment routing in a client management system

A method of authenticating a user of a multifunction device to a server, the method comprising associating a user-supplied image with user login credentials, using a server; receiving, at the server, an image uploaded from the multifunction device; and comparing the uploaded image to the user-supplied image, using the server, and, only if the uploaded image is identical to the user-supplied image, allowing the user of the multifunction device to authenticate to the server by providing additional login credentials to the server using the multifunction device.

A method of evaluating data in a database, the method including causing a workstation to display a graphical user interface which a user can use to create a screening rule by defining at least one screening condition and by entering a score, whether the score is applied to evaluate data in the database if the screening condition is met, whereby no knowledge of a programming language is required to create the screening rule.
