An exhaust system for a power system contained in an engine compartment. The exhaust system includes a mount for two or more exhaust treatment devices and an enclosure surrounding the two or more exhaust treatment devices. The enclosure defines a space with a higher temperature than a space defined by the engine compartment during steady state operation of the power system. At least one electronic or fluid device is coupled to the enclosure or mount and located on an exterior of the enclosure.

An exhaust treatment system for machine is disclosed that includes a burner body having an inlet for receiving a flow of exhaust, an outlet for the exhaust flow to exit, an opening and a receiving mount disposed around the opening. A fuel injector head is mounted over the opening in any one of a plurality of angular positions relative to the body. The burner body includes a plurality of mounting pads extending at least partially and circumferentially around the burner body for coupling a support bracket to the burner body in any one of a plurality of positions relative to the burner body. The support bracket may be used to couple the burner to a fixture device such as a cradle for supporting other exhaust treatment system components.

An engine system includes an exhaust gas recirculation conduit having an inlet in fluid communication with an exhaust conduit and an outlet in fluid communication with an intake air conduit. An exhaust gas recirculation performance balancing restrictor has an uninstalled position wherein the exhaust conduit defines a first backpressure at the inlet of the exhaust gas recirculation conduit. The exhaust gas recirculation performance balancing restrictor also has an installed position in which the exhaust gas recirculation performance balancing restrictor is removably disposed within the exhaust conduit downstream from the inlet of the exhaust gas recirculation conduit. In the installed position, the exhaust gas recirculation performance balancing restrictor provides a fixed flow restriction through the exhaust conduit to generate a second backpressure at the inlet of the exhaust gas recirculation conduit that is greater than the first backpressure.

An exhaust system device is disclosed. The exhaust system device may have a mount supporting a first exhaust treatment device and a second exhaust treatment device. The exhaust system device may also have a mounting bracket coupled to the mount. The exhaust system device may further have an air cleaner attached to the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket may be configured to substantially occlude the air cleaner from thermal radiation emitted by the first exhaust treatment device and the second exhaust treatment device.

A fuel line protective cover is disclosed. The fuel line protective cover includes a first leg configured to be mounted to a top surface of an engine and configured to extend the length of an engine. The fuel line protective cover further includes at least one second leg configured to be mounted to a side surface of an engine. The first leg and the at least one second leg cooperate to at least partially enclose a high pressure fuel system.

A cooling device for emissions system electronics is disclosed. The cooling device may have a mount for an exhaust treatment device. The mount may have a framework comprising a plurality of rigid members. The cooling device may also have a passageway located within at least one rigid member of the plurality of rigid members. The passageway may be configured to transmit a flow of coolant. The cooling device may further have a plate coupled to the at least one rigid member and at least one electronic device coupled to the plate. The at least one electronic device may be associated with the exhaust treatment device.
