A medical treatment system, such as peritoneal dialysis system, may include control and other features to enhance patient comfort and ease of use. For example, a peritoneal dialysis system may include patient line state detector for detecting whether a patient line is primed before it is to be connected to the patient. The patient line state detector can also the ability to detect whether a patient line has been properly mounted for priming. Both patient line presence/absence and fill state can be determined using an optical system, e.g., one that employs a single optical sensor.

Medical treatment system and methods using a plurality of fluid lines

An RFID system includes an RFID antenna assembly configured to be positioned on a product module assembly of a processing system. The product module assembly is configured to releasably engage at least one product container. A first RFID tag assembly configured to be positioned on the at least one product container. The at least one product container is configured to position the first RFID tag assembly within a detection zone of the RFID antenna assembly whenever the product module assembly releasably engages the at least one product container.

RFID system and method

An equivalent time network analyzer and method estimates a device-under-test's frequency response by acquiring its time domain response through equivalent time over-sampling. The analyzer has a timing system producing two time bases differing in period by less than one part per million, resulting in a linearly varying phase difference. A high frequency stimulus generator, synchronized to the first time basis, creates a periodic waveform that contains energy at harmonics of the first time basis. An output capture cell that captures the response of the device-under-test includes a high bandwidth input comparator, a memory element clocked to the second time basis, and a low bandwidth feedback filter that provides a low frequency analog estimate of the time domain response of the device-under-test as feedback to the input comparator and as output from the capture cell. The analyzer may also include input capture cells, multiple stimulus generators, and/or multiple output capture cells.

Equivalent time network analyzer

A flow control device is disclosed. The flow control device includes a solenoid, the solenoid including an armature. Also, a piston connected to the armature. The piston includes a primary orifice. The piston having an open position and a closed position. A piston spring connected to the piston is also includes and at least one secondary orifice. The movement of the piston to the open position at least partially opens the at least one secondary orifice and the movement of the piston to the closed position at least partially closes the at least one secondary orifice. The movement of the armature actuates the piston movement and controls fluid flow from the primary orifice through the at least one secondary orifice.
