A pet bathing system for use with a surface cleaning apparatus is provided and includes at least a wand override tool to allow for an easy-to-use pet bathing system. The system can be used for the bathing of pets via the application and subsequent extraction of liquid. The wand override tool includes a cleaning solution reservoir and couplers adapted to be coupled with a surface cleaning apparatus having a suction source and a cleaning fluid source and with a hand tool.

A grout cleaning tool includes a grout cleaning tape. The grout cleaning tape can be provided as a replaceable grout cleaning cartridge containing a supply reel of grout cleaning tape that can be rolled across grout line grooves with an applicator roller. The grout cleaning tape can include a composition therein that is configured to be activated or enhanced by steam and transferred into the grout line to be cleaned when steam is applied to the tape.

A surface cleaning apparatus includes a housing with an on-board hydrogen peroxide generator which produces a hydrogen peroxide solution in situ from fluid stored within an on-board supply tank of the surface cleaning apparatus, and further delivers the generated hydrogen peroxide solution to a cleaning pad attached to the housing of the surface cleaning apparatus.

A package for delivering a cleaning solution to a surface to be cleaned includes a sealed packet having a cleaning solution therein with at least a portion of an outer lower surface thereof having at least one weakened, frangible area that is adapted to rupture when a predetermined pressure is applied to an upper surface of the packet. The cleaning solution in the packet can be discharged through the frangible areas when the packet is positioned on a surface and the predetermined pressure is applied to the packet to rupture the packet.

A sustainable system for refilling a pressurized fluid dispenser comprises a container body having a first fluid dispenser that includes a valved opening, a pouch mounted within the container body for storing a fluid composition and fluidly coupled with the valved opening of the container for dispensing the contents of the pouch and a fluid refill system. A pressurized gas can be provided between the pouch and the container body for pressurizing the contents of the pouch. The fluid refill system includes at least one reservoir having a fluid composition therein and a second fluid dispenser having a fitting that is adapted to dispense the fluid composition from the at least one reservoir into the pouch. A controller can be programmed to respond to input signals to position the container with the fluid refill system and to dispense the fluid composition under pressure into the pouch.

A surface cleaning apparatus has a steam distribution manifold located along the leading edge of a foot assembly and configured to apply steam to a surface to be cleaned, in front of the cleaning pad. The cleaning pad trailing the manifold can absorb soil, stains and residual moisture from the cleaning process as the steam appliance is moved across the surface to be cleaned. The cleaning pad can comprise a superabsorbent material. A mist generating system for a cleaning implement is adapted to generate a finely atomized liquid mist for suppressing dust, allergens, and other airborne particulates. The mist generating system can be adapted to fit many cleaning implements such as vacuum cleaners, wet extraction cleaners, floor mops, and dusters to suppress airborne dust and particulates generated during operation and the cleaning process.

A cleaning composition for treating a surface comprises a purified enzyme and an enzyme denaturant system. The enzyme denaturant system is configured to denature the purified enzyme such that any residue remaining on the surface after the treatment of the surface is virtually free of active purified enzymes.
