A method of communication between a user terminal powered by a battery and a base station allowing optimization of the management of the battery of the user terminal, includes a step of selecting from among terminals, termed surrounding terminals, powered by battery and situated in a zone within range of the base station, terminals whose distance with the user terminal is less than a predetermined distance and whose battery level is greater than a predetermined threshold, termed neighbour terminals, a step of configuring the neighbour terminals and the user terminal by way of a configuration setpoint, a step of transmitting data between the user terminal and the base station according to the configuration setpoint defining at least one neighbour terminal through which the data pass.

The object of the present invention is a method for selecting a terminal of an HD-FDD duplexing model. The invention enables the complexity of a switch of a terminal operating in an HD-FDD duplexing mode, at a level equivalent to that of a terminal operating in a TDD or FDD duplexing mode, to be reduced. To do this, thanks to the invention, it is provided that the terminal operating in an HD-FDD duplexing mode receives notifications or information via a network that programs the HD-FDD terminals through different uplink and downlink transmission models illustrated in FIG.. It may also be provided that the terminal operating in an HD-FDD duplexing mode has knowledge of the HD-FDD model to use for its communication. In this event, the complexity of its communication is reduced to the same level as that of a terminal operating in TDD mode.

A telecommunications network, especially an LTE type network, is adapted to a change in configuration. The telecommunications network includes at least a first transmission device, of base station or transmission relay type, and a second transmission device, of base station or transmission relay type. Adaptation of a telecommunications network to changes in configuration

A battery sharing method to increase the service life of the batteries of PMR terminals having important uses, such as the terminal of the head of a group such as the police, firefighters, or the like, is disclosed. The technique is based on the detection of neighboring networks and/or neighboring nodes. The detection is facilitated by reiterating a selection (or reselection) of cells and a handover (HO)/vertical handover (VHO) procedure, while relaying and coordinating transmission and reception. The aim of the techniques is to improve communications as well as the duration thereof, in order to enable improved management of the battery of each terminal and to broaden coverage in areas that are not served by a network.

A transmission of information is established between an emitting mobile terminal and at least one receiving mobile terminal of the same group of terminals pertaining to a shared-resource radiocommunication network operating in a direct mode includes the step of emitting by the emitting terminal of a transmission request to inform the other receiving terminals of the group of its intention to transmit information. Each receiving terminal of the group then determines whether, on the basis of at least one pre-defined selection strategy, it will accept the transmission of information. If it will, the receiving terminal transmits a return signal comprising data relating to the emitting terminal to the other terminals of the group. Then, the emitting terminal checks whether it respects the transmission conditions. If it does, the emitting terminal transmits the information to the other terminals in its group via at least one resource allocated to the group.

Method for establishing a transmission between mobile terminals of the same group pertaining to a shared-resource radiocommunication network operating in a direct mode

In order to acquire first subbands in at least a central band of a broad frequency band, in which subbands frames are transmitted by a base station (BSBB) of a broadband network (RBB) which is co-located with a network (RNB) having narrow subbands comprised in the broadband, a mobile (MBBB) which does not know the distribution of the subbands correlates subsequences of a generated reference signal with subsequences which are respectively detected in the subbands and compares correlation coefficients against a threshold. By knowing the distribution of the first subbands, the mobile is able to process the signaling transmitted by the base station, in order to access allocated resources, after a synchronization phase.

Matching subcarries power in a broadband network collocated with a narrowband network

A radio terminal is organized to send a first access signal then, when it receives a positive acknowledgement from a base station, a second access signal, resources of the communication network being allocated to the radio terminal after receipt of the said second access signal at the base station. At a base station, the first access signal sent by a radio terminal is received and the communication service requested by the terminal is detected therein. In conditional manner, depending on the detected communication service, a receive power of the first access signal is measured, the measured receive power is compared with a threshold, and the transmission of a positive acknowledgement of the first access signal to the radio terminal is inhibited, when the measured receive power is greater than the said threshold.

Method of controlling access to resources of a radiocommunication network and base station for implementing the method

In certain circumstances, a mobile radiocommunication terminal estimates an initial radio signal transmission power, i.e. a random access request, to a base station located within the range thereof. If it is very close to said station, said initial estimated power can be lower, even greatly lower, than the minimum transmission power of the mobile terminal. In order to limit interference with other communications in progress, the transmission of said signals is inhibited if the difference between the minimum transmission power and the initial estimated power lies beyond a predefined threshold.
