Various embodiments are directed to a docking station for the mechanical alignment of an autonomous robotic platform. A correlator may receive the wheels of a moving autonomous robotic platform. A first set of rollers in the correlator may align the wheels, in a substantially linear direction, into a space created by a second set of rollers attached to a frame of a backstop. The second set of rollers may continue to align the wheels of the moving autonomous robotic platform until the wheels come in contact with a stopping roller coupled to the backstop. The stopping roller may be vertically oriented at a height above a wheel radius of the autonomous robotic platform. The stopping roller provides a force to prevent further forward travel. Upon being stopped by the stopping roller, the autonomous robotic platform is positioned for mating with charging contacts in the docking station.

Each conducting wire of the plurality of conducting wires is coupled to an insulator. The at least one avian streamer deterrent may be disposed on a that is absent an insulator and situated above the plurality of conducting wires. The at least one avian streamer deterrent or an additional avian streamer deterrent may extend over one or more jumpers coupling at least a first conducting wire of the plurality of conducting wires to a second conducting wire of the plurality of conducting wires. In addition, the at least one avian streamer deterrent may comprise a rotatable configuration or a collapsible configuration.

Systems and methods coordinate drone flights in an operating windfarm. A drone flight path that is removed from any location where the drone is conducting observations of a wind turbine and that extends through at least part of a windfarm to a destination location is determined. A respective wake pattern along at least one portion of the drone fight path is determined based on respective operating parameters for each of at least one wind turbine in the windfarm. Flight time commands to adjust at least one respective operating parameter of the respective wind turbine to reduce the effect of the respective wake pattern at a point ahead of the drone on the drone flight path are sent by a windfarm controller controlling the at least one wind turbine.

Various embodiments are directed to a method for docking a robotic platform. The method may include receiving a robotic platform onto a ramp of a docking station. The docking station may include the ramp, a roller assembly, a base pad, and a roller backstop assembly. The ramp may have a first side and a second side opposing the first side. The method may further include guiding, by the roller assembly, the robotic platform as the robotic platform is being driven onto ramp such that the robotic platform continues powered travel over the ramp when the robotic platform approaches the ramp within an angle range of 0 and 15 degrees with respect to either of the first and second sides of the ramp. The method may further include receiving, by the roller backstop assembly, the robotic platform from the roller assembly and then docking the robotic platform.

Work orders for repairing the damage are autonomously generated and resources identified within the work orders are autonomously provisioned.

The roller assembly may be configured to allow a robotic platform being driven towards the ramp to continue powered travel onto the ramp for docking when the robotic platform approaches the ramp within an angle range of 0 and 15 degrees with respect to either of the first and second sides of the ramp. The roller backstop assembly may be coupled to the roller assembly and the base pad. The roller backstop assembly may receive the robotic platform from the roller assembly to dock the robotic platform.

Systems and methods to label images for inclusion into a machine learning image recognition training data set. A coded labeling definition is defined. A set of digital images is collected that includes images of different types of piece of equipment. A digital image is presented that includes an image of a particular piece of equipment. A received numeric code corresponding to the particular piece of equipment within the present image is received. The received numeric code is associated with the present image and the present image is stored in association with the received numeric code into a machine learning image recognition data set. A machine learning image recognition is trained based on the machine learning image recognition data set to automatically associate unlabeled images with the respective numeric code that corresponds to the particular piece of equipment in the unlabeled image.

A composite location probability distribution is determined for the location of the line fault along the electrical line based on an algorithm processing the first location probability distribution and the second location probability distribution. Systems and methods to provide composite fault maps. A first event report is received from a system indicating a first set of location probability distributions of a first event. A second event report is received from a second system that is a different type than the first system indicating a second set of location probability distributions of a second event that is different from the first event. Based upon data in the received reports, the first event is determined to be associated with the second event. A composite fault map is determined that includes composite location likelihood values for the first event and the second event, the composite fault map being determined based on assembling the first set of location probability distributions and the second set of location probability distributions. The the composite fault map is provided to a different process.
