A guard to protect the neck of a person absorbs kinetic energy from an object that, if not for the guard, would strike the person's neck. The guard includes a body that has a material that deforms when an object strikes it, a shape configured to cover the posterior region of each of the cervical vertebrae of a person's spine when the guard is worn by a person to protect their neck, and a coupler to position and hold the body over the posterior region of each of the cervical vertebrae of a person's spine. The guard's body also includes a first region positioned above a person's first cervical vertebrae, when the guard is worn by a person to protect their neck, and a second region positioned above a person's last cervical vertebrae, when the guard is worn by a person to protect their neck.

A dynamic fluid flow system for training. The system incorporates transparent piping, transparent pump components, transparent valve components, and other components found in most fluid flow systems which provide visual feedback for training purposes when training personnel on the fluid flow system. A global information network forms completion data processing system uses data stored in a database to automatically fill out data fields of the various and multiple forms displayed on the WEB browsers of users who are engaged in commerce, dealing with governmental agencies, or otherwise attempting to complete transactions over the global information network. The data processing system retrieves tagged information previously entered and stored in a database, and automatically inserts the data in similarly tagged uncompleted fields of any number and variety of forms. The fully completed forms are then transmitted to the parties requesting the information and are stored for later retrieval, updating and printing by the user.

A particle separator is provided for collection and manipulation of target particles, e.g., target cells, in a closed sterile field condition. A stir plate assembly is responsive to a signal from the data processor for controllably agitating the contents of the cell separator.
