An oven includes a cooking enclosure including one or more cooking heater elements, a steam source in the cooking enclosure, and a steam source heater for the steam source. A sensor is responsive to the temperature of the steam source. A fluid reservoir is exterior to the cooking enclosure and a conduit extends from the fluid reservoir to or proximate the steam source. A controller energizes the steam source heater if the temperature of the steam source is below a predetermined threshold and de-energizes the steam source heater if the temperature of the steam source is above the predetermined threshold.

A linear compression latch includes a lever handle linked to a pawl. As the latch is opened, the pawl is initially constrained to move vertically within a carriage. After an intermediate position is achieved, the pawl is constrained to move horizontally within the carriage.

Reliable and durable tether clips that continue to tether two panels together while allowing for a controlled displacement between the two panels in response to a predetermined force are disclosed. The tether clips according to the present invention include a first retaining means near a first end that is adapted to be securable to a first panel, a second retaining means that is engageable with the second panel and limits the relative separation between the panels, and a releasable fastener means intermediate the first and second retaining means that normally maintains the two panels in a closed configuration relative to one another but that releases at least one of the panels relative to the other panel in response to a predetermined force tending to separate the panels.

Tether clip system

An ambidextrous lid assembly that allows a lid to be opened from either side of a compartment is disclosed. The lid assembly includes at least a first frame member adapted to be pivotally attached proximate the compartment opening. The first frame member has an opening that allows access therethrough to at least a portion of the interior of the compartment when the first frame member is closed against the perimeter of the compartment opening. The lid assembly includes a second frame member that is pivotally attached to the first frame member and either by itself or in cooperation with a lid cover provides a closure for the opening in the first frame member. The first frame member carries a latch for securing it about the opening, and the second frame member carries a latch for securing it to the first frame member.

The present invention is directed to a latch that includes a housing, a pawl pivotally supported by the housing and movable between a latched position and an unlatched position, a spring biasing the pawl toward the unlatched position, and a locking member being rotationally movable about an axis of rotation between an open position and a locked position. The locking member interferes with the movement of the pawl such that the pawl is maintained in the latched position when the pawl is in the latched position and the locking member is in the locked position. The locking member allows the pawl to move to the unlatched position when the locking member is in the open position. The latch may further include a motor housing, a lockplug, a lockplug member, at least one roller switch, at least one gearbox, and a motor.

The invention is a tie-down hoop for slidably mounting within a guide rail. An embodiment of the tie-down hoop includes a hoop, a button, a bezel, an elastomeric spring, and a sliding plate. Other embodiments of the tie-down hoop may include a hoop, a bezel, possibly a bushing between the hoop and bezel, a sliding plate, and at least one elastomeric spring. The bezel is biased towards the top of the guide rail by the spring. The top of the guide rail includes a plurality of detents for securing the tie-down hoop in a desired position. The tie-down hoop may be employed in vehicle seat guide rails to tie down cargo to the vehicle floor.

A draw latch for latching together two closure members having an open and a closed position and having a keeper, a base bracket, a housing, and a clevis, the keeper secured to one of the closure members, the a base bracket attached to the other of the closure members, the a housing having a first end and a second end, the first end of the housing pivotally and detachably connected to the keeper, the a clevis having a first and a second end, the first end of the clevis pivotally secured to the base bracket, and the second end of the clelvis pivotally secured to the second end of the housing; and the draw latch having secondary catches to secure the draw latch in the open and/or closed position.

A draw latch for securing a first closure panel with a second closure panel, having a base mounted to one of the closure panels, a cover member and a pivot member, the pivot member connecting said base with said cover member, there being a matingly provided keeper member which is mounted on the other closure panel to secure the cover for latching, the draw latch pivot member, base and cover being configured to facilitate installation of the pivot member thereto.

A fastener secures to a first member. The fastener comprises an attachment member and a retaining member connected to the attachment member for rotation. The attachment member has a body and a support. The retaining member is positioned between the body and the support. The support is attached to and moveable relative to the body for regulating frictional resistance between the retaining member and the attachment member.
