A measurement device providing a graphical user interface (GUI) to a user on a remote terminal comprising at least one first processor; and at least one first memory including one or more first sequences of instructions to perform the steps of transmitting a GUI displaying a at least one of a first, a second, a third, and a fourth image in response to at least one of a voltage characteristic, a current characteristic, and a load characteristic obtained from the user through the GUI on the remote terminal. Then, the measurement device stores in a memory the at least one of the voltage characteristic, the current characteristic, and the load characteristic.

Measurement device and method of its operation

A measurement device, such as a power meter or power submeter, may comprise a frame disposed in a housing dividing an interior volume of the housing into a first volume and a second volume. An external power source is connected to the device in the first volume and the frame may serve as an insulative barrier between the first volume and an exterior it and the housing. The device may alternatively, or additional include, an user interface assembly that is configured to mounted in a same orientation regardless of an orientation of the device or housing of a device relative to the external power source.

A room condition monitor (RCM) that includes a processor with an embedded router software object that is in signal communication with a first communication connector including BACnet/IP interface for the transmission receipt of data packages over a building management system (BMS) communication network according to a BACnet/IP protocol. The RCM also includes a room condition sensor for detecting a room condition. In addition, the RCM includes a projected capacitive LCD screen display to display information regarding the detected room condition, or other building information associated with the BMS. A second communication connector with a second network protocol interface is provided for communication with network legacy devises through the RCM router.

Room condition monitoring system

A pressure sensor () useful as a vacuum manometer. A reference pressure cavity () of the sensor is evacuated through an evacuation opening () located behind a plate portion () of the sensor electrode () having a non-planar surface for supporting the diaphragm () during an overpressure event. The electrode is hermetically sealed to the body () of the sensor by a brazed joint with a ceramic seal member () disposed there between. The brazed joint may include a layer of buffer material () which provides a degree of malleability to the joint to avoid cracking of the ceramic seal member. The brazed ceramic/metal joint permits the selection of materials such that differential thermal expansion effects can be passively minimized. The electrode is connected to the sensor circuitry () by a wire having a spring section (), thereby providing a stress free interconnection.

Pressure measuring instrument

A surface mounted instrument () that is easily installed to seal () against a mounting surface () in spite of imprecise installation of a standard rough-in box () or irregularities in the surface. A cover plate () overlays the installed instrument housing () without the use of outwardly visible mechanical connectors by use of a pawl () that engages the housing. An oversized display () is mounted for easy replacement on a moveable display module () for unobstructed access to the interior () of the housing. Subsurface channels () formed in the housing are used to deliver a working fluid from a measured location to a sensor () inside the housing.

Surface mounted instrument

An environmental condition monitor () configured for simple upgrade from analog signal output to any of a plurality of digital communication protocols. A display board () includes the analog signal acquisition and processing elements of the device and also includes a pre-positioned but initially inoperative digital communication output connector (). A connector board () associated with the display board includes a connector () to which any one of a plurality of digital communication boards () may be selectively connected, depending upon which of a plurality of digital communication protocols is desired. Selective connection of a digital communication board completes a circuit whereby an analog output signal is converted to the desired digital output format and is then communicated back to the now-activated digital communication output connector ().

Environmental condition monitor for alternative communication protocols

An actuator and door latch system incorporating the same. The actuator moves a door latch between locked and unlocked positions with rapidity using a gear train directly coupled to an actuator motor or energy stored in an energy storage element such as a spring.

Passive entry actuator

An electro-mechanical actuator for a window lift mechanism including a plurality of motors for driving an output shaft. The actuator may be incorporated into a window lift mechanism including a dual rack and pinion assembly, for driving the pinions along the racks. According to another aspect of the invention there is provided a variety of anti-back-drive mechanisms, e.g. clutches. A clutch according to one embodiment includes locking pawls that resist back-drive. In another embodiment, locking cams rotate relative to a carrier to resist back-drive. An actuator consistent with the invention may incorporate an impact mechanism including a flexible carrier. The carrier flexes to prevent impact forces at an output gear train from coupling to an input gear train.

Electro-mechanical actuator

A failsafe actuator is provided for returning an actuator driven element to a failsafe position in case of a failure condition. The actuator includes a drive assembly for driving a plunger from a first plunger position to a second plunger position. The actuator additionally includes a stored energy element for driving the plunger from the second plunger position to the first plunger position on the occurrence of the failure condition, wherein the actuator driven element is responsive to the plunger such that the actuator drive element is driven to the failsafe position when the plunger is driven to the first position.

Failsafe actuator

An electro-mechanical actuator including a plurality of motors for driving an output shaft. The actuator may be incorporated into a window lift mechanism, such as a mechanism including a dual rack and pinion assembly. According to another aspect of the invention there is provided a variety of anti-back-drive mechanisms, e.g. clutches. A clutch according to one embodiment includes locking pawls that resist back-drive. In another embodiment, locking cams rotate relative to a carrier to resist back-drive. An actuator consistent with the invention may incorporate an impact mechanism including a flexible carrier. The carrier flexes to prevent impact forces at an output gear train from coupling to an input gear train.

An electro-mechanical actuator including a brushless DC motor for driving an output of the actuator; and a motor controller. The controller is configured to interrupt operation of the motor in response to at least one feedback signal representative of a motor parameter that varies with variation in a load on the output. The actuator output may be coupled to a window lift mechanism for moving a vehicle window between open and closed positions.

Electro-mechanical actuator including brushless DC motor for providing pinch protection

A fuel filler door actuator including a motor, a gear train coupled to the motor and to a latch arm, and a locking cam coupled to the gear train. The locking cam resists movement of the latch arm from an unlocked condition to a locked condition. A manual override cable is disclosed for manually moving the latch arm from the locked condition to an unlocked condition. A push&mdash;push mechanism is disclosed for allowing facile opening of a fuel filler door, and a quick connect/disconnect feature is disclosed for allowing facile assembly of the actuator to a fuel filler door housing.

Fuel door lock actuator

An actuator including a motor having a drive shaft, and a gear train coupled to the drive shaft, wherein the gear train includes a plurality of output gears and an associated plurality of output ports for providing a mechanical output from the actuator. The gear train may be provided in a variety of configurations, and may include a worm gear and worm wheel configuration for reducing audible noise. Position sensing may be provided for determining the position of a movable element, e.g. one or more adjustable pedals of an adjustable pedal system. A controller may control the position of the movable element in response to a user input, and may facilitate auto-calibration of the element upon installation. Various configurations for isolating actuator components for reducing audible noise, including a sub-frame isolation configuration, are also provided.

Electro-mechanical actuator for an adjustable pedal system

A potentiometric position sensor (16, 40) is shown having first and second electrical contact wipers (24, 26; 24', 26') mechanically coupled to the control rod (14) of an automotive manual transmission. An electrical resistive circuit is formed on a flexible substrate (28, 28') which is mounted on the inside cylindrical surface (28a, 46a) of a housing (18, 46). The first contact wiper is adapted to wipe over a first set of resistive elements (28a, 28b, 28c; 28a', 28b', 28c') and the second contact wiper is adapted to wipe over a second set of resistive elements (28f, 28g, 28h; 28f', 28g', 28h) to provide unique analog voltage outputs dependent upon the position of the control rod along a translational and rotational axis (14a). In one embodiment the contact wipers (24, 26) are mounted on a rotor (22) which in turn is mounted directly on the control rod (14). In a second embodiment the contact wipers (24', 26') are mounted on a rotor (42) which is mechanically coupled to the control rod (14) via a ball and socket mechanism (48a, 50a).
