A method of performing sound effect comprising providing a headphone-like or earphone-like device with rear speakers carried therein, wherein the headphone-like or earphone-like device includes an opening for receiving the front speaker signal. Then, the signal is transmitted to the front, rear and sub-woofer signal to associated speakers. The signal to the rear speakers is processed by HRTF and means for creating virtual speakers to obtain virtual speakers of the rear side. The processed signal is transmitted to the rear speaker.

System and headphone-like rear channel speaker and the method of the same

A control method for controlling the sound effect system, comprises implanting a control code into a sound effect data that is transmitted to a sub woofer speaker. Then, the sound effect data with the control code is transmitted to the sound effect system. Next step is to control speakers of the sound effect system by means of the control code. Wherein a data transmission frame between the sound effect system and a computer system for controlling the sound effect system comprises a plurality of bit cells, wherein the data transmission frame includes: a sound effect data transmitted by a data bit; and a control code transmitted by a control bit.

Means for compensating rear sound effect, comprising a headphone-like or an earphone-like device with rear speakers carried therein, the headphone-like or earphone-like device including an opening for receiving the front speaker signal, wherein the headphone-like or the earphone-like device includes a housing for receiving the rear speakers, wherein the housings opposite each other, the two housings being joined by a headband, to compose the headphone-like structure; an input plug with conductive wire connected to the housing; and wherein the earphone-like or headphone-like device cannot cover the whole ear for receiving the sound from the front speakers and sub-woofer speaker, the opening allowing the ears to listen the sound from the front speakers, the rear speakers being respectively located on both sides of the earphone-like or headphone-like device to provide virtual speaker of rear side without losing rear bass.

Means for compensating rear sound effect

System of multi-channel shared resistor-string digital-to-analog converters comprises a time-sharing interpolator converting the multi-channel digital audio input at low sample rate to the multi-channel digital audio output at high sample rate, a time-sharing sigma-delta modulator modulating the multi-channel digital audio input with a long sample wordlength from the interpolator to be a multi-channel digital audio output with a shorter sample wordlength, multi-channel shared resistor-string digital-to-analog converters converting the multi-channel digital audio input to be a multi-channel staircase analog signal output, and one low-order RC filter for each channel further attenuating the out-of-band noise in the analog staircase analog output, especially the high-frequency residue images.
