Techniques and systems include predicting various health conditions using a photoplethysmography (PPG) signal or a video signal based on images of a patient's fingertip or other body portion captured using a mobile device. The video signal may be transformed into a pseudo PPG signal to measure blood volume changes in the patient's blood flow to derive data indicating a disease state or health-related characteristic, such as blood oxygen level, blood glucose level, heart rate variability, hemoglobin, respiration rate, or arrhythmia. Techniques involve real-time environment assessment and problematic issue detection, training an artificial intelligence (AI) model to measure signal quality so as to select high-quality signals from a range of signals, and domain adaption and transfer learning to make use of publicly available datasets.

System and methods for determining health-related metrics from collected physiological data

Data sets may be enhanced to create data stores. Request to create data stores may be received. As part of performing the request to create a data store, items stored in an extensible data format may be identified for machine learning enhancement. Machine learning models may be applied to generate additional data from data in the items. The additional data may be added to extend the items and store the extended items in a new data store.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for detecting and rendering endnotes in digital content. A user selection of a link rendered at a first location in digital content may be detected and various filtering criteria may be evaluated to determine whether the link references a second location in the digital content that is associated with endnote content. If the link is determined to reference endnote content, the endnote content may be extracted and rendered in association with a portion of the digital content corresponding to the first location.

In addition, a viewing position of the user may be maintained at a location of the first portion in the content item while the second portion is illustrated in the preview window. Accordingly, the user may not lose context of the first portion of the content item while the viewing the second portion.
