A reel assembly is provided. The reel assembly includes a housing, a drum core disposed within the housing, and a splitter flange separating the drum core into a first partition and a second partition. A first conduit is wound on the first partition of the drum core, and a second conduit is wound on the second partition of the drum core. A conduit handler system is utilized to make a connection or test a connection between the first conduit and the second conduit using actuating pistons to apply a compressive or an opposing tensile force on the connection.

A system for deploying downhole components includes a housing apparatus comprising a tool chamber configured to house a plurality of downhole tools and a conveyance configured to run the housing apparatus along the wellbore. The housing apparatus is secured to an end of the conveyance. The system for deploying downhole components also includes an actuation mechanism configured to selectively eject individual downhole tools of the plurality of downhole tools from the housing apparatus at respective locations in the wellbore.

A pivoting guide arch is provided. The guide arch includes a guide having a curved portion to receive a coiled tube and to guide the tube as the tube traverses between a reel and a wellbore. The guide arch also includes a support structure extending from a first end of the guide that is configured to mechanically support the guide, and a swivel mount that is rotatably coupled to a wellhead to enable the guide and support structure to pivot about an axis of the wellhead.

A positive displacement motor (PDM) is provided comprising an outer housing, a thermoplastic stator and a rotor. The PDM may additionally include a mechanism that allows the stator to be removable from the PDM when the PDM is not in operation and resists rotational movement of the stator with reference to a longitudinal axis of the stator and axial movement of the stator along the longitudinal axis of the stator when the PDM is operating, and a rotor disposed within the stator and configured to rotate within the stator when a fluid flows through the stator.

A downhole treatment system, apparatus, and methods are disclosed. In some embodiments a treatment apparatus includes a first conduit configured to transport a first fluid from a first fluid source through a first enclosed channel to a first outlet. A second conduit is configured to transport a second fluid from a second fluid source through a second enclosed channel to a second outlet. The treatment apparatus further comprises a mixing applicator that includes the first outlet positioned to provide a discharge path for the first fluid that at least partially intersects a flow path of the second fluid within a confluence region within or external to the second conduit.

Multi-component downhole treatment

A hydrate remediation system and method utilizing a concentric coiled tubing downline is provided. The concentric coiled tubing downline includes an outer coiled tubing and an inner coiled tubing, the inner coiled tubing disposed within the outer coiled tubing and extending at least partially through the outer coiled tubing. The concentric coiled tubing downline may be deployed from a single surface reel housed on a surface vessel. A bottom hole assembly (BHA) including a subsea connector is disposed at a distal end of the concentric coiled tubing. The subsea connector of the BHA is configured to be connected to the subsea interface that will be depressurized via the concentric coiled tubing downline. The concentric coiled tubing downline may provide two flow paths. Pressurized gas flows down one flow path, and effluent from the hydrate remediation flows up to the surface via the other flow path.

In the general context of oilfield equipment and, in particular, in the context of downhole tools, the systems and methods relate to characterizing flow in a wellbore using data collection devices, which may be temporarily attached on the outside of a work string to be run into the wellbore. More particularly, the systems and methods may be used for obtaining flow data at a plurality of different locations and correlated with wellbore depth for evaluation of production profiles of wellbores. A system may be provided that comprises a work string, multiple external support devices temporarily secured to an exterior of the work string at a plurality of different locations, and at least one data collection device such as a resistivity gauge, flow meter, and/or Doppler sensor, coupled to the external support devices. This data, once recovered on surface, could be incorporated into an overall production profile model of the well.

Method and apparatus for distributed flow/seismic profiling and external support device

A wellbore isolation assembly has an outer housing having an inner bore having a treatment port formed therein, and a floating inner mandrel disposed within the inner bore. The floating inner mandrel can have an inner bore formed therethrough with a fluid port formed therein. One or more fluid chambers, disposed in an annulus formed between the outer housing and the floating inner mandrel, having a working fluid operably disposed therein and one or more inflatable elements operable to receive the working fluid therein. A plunger disposed in the annulus and coupled with the floating inner mandrel and operable to urge the working fluid from the one or more fluid chambers to the one or more inflatable elements. The floating inner mandrel operable to transition between a first position and a second position and the treatment port and the fluid port substantially aligned in the second position.

Wellbore isolation device

Provided is a method for connecting coiled tubing strings, and a coiled tubing working connector, in accordance with one aspect of the disclosure. The method for connecting coiled tubing strings, in one aspect, includes lowering a downhole end of a first coiled tubing string within a wellbore, an uphole end of the first coiled tubing string remaining outside of the wellbore. The method, in one aspect, further includes coupling the uphole end of the first coiled tubing string to a downhole end of a second coiled tubing string while the uphole end of the first coiled tubing string remaining outside of the wellbore to form a combined coiled tubing string, and lowering the combined coiled tubing string within the wellbore.

Workflow method for connecting coiled tubing strings for extended reach applications

Provided is a method for connecting coiled tubing strings, as well as a flexible stabbing snake. In one aspect, the method for connecting coiled tubing strings includes lowering a downhole end of a first coiled tubing string within a wellbore, and coupling an uphole end of the first coiled tubing string to a downhole end of a second coiled tubing string at a location between a coiled tubing injector and the wellbore to form a combined coiled tubing string. In at least one aspect, the method further includes lowering the combined coiled tubing string within the wellbore.

Workflow process for connecting multiple coiled tubing strings

A method includes deploying a downhole tool within a wellbore. While the downhole tool is within the wellbore, the method also includes slotting or perforating a casing of the wellbore at the target interval to expose formation surrounding the wellbore. Further, the method includes flushing the target interval to remove wellbore debris from the target interval. Furthermore, the method includes pacing a cement or sealant plug at the target interval.

Single trip wellbore cleaning and sealing system and method

A multilateral entry tool enables an operator to identify a target lateral wellbore, and efficiently guide a bottom hole assembly (BHA) into the target lateral for diagnostic, servicing or other wellbore operations. The multilateral entry tool provides independent control over both kick-over and orientation mechanisms such that the operator may either pivot the BHA without rotating, or rotate the BHA without pivoting. The BHA may be rotated in either direction, and the degree that the BHA can be pivoted may be fully adjustable. Sensors on the entry tool may penult the operator to verify a successful lateral entry, and the BHA may be straightened to reduce drag as the BHA is advanced into the lateral wellbore.

A method of fracturing a formation penetrated by a wellbore, the method includes fracturing the formation by increasing an annulus pressure in the wellbore above a fracture initiation pressure. The method also includes decreasing the annulus pressure below a fracture closure pressure, and re-fracturing the formation by increasing the annulus pressure in the wellbore above the fracture initiation pressure.

An actuatable wellbore isolation assembly including a housing defining an axial flowbore and including a mandrel portion, a first end portion, and a second end portion; a radially expandable isolating member positioned circumferentially about the housing; a sliding sleeve circumferentially positioned about the mandrel, the sliding sleeve being movable from a first position, in which the sliding sleeve retains the isolating member in a narrower non-expanded conformation, to a second position, in which the sliding sleeve does not retain the isolating member in the narrower non-expanded conformation; and an actuator assemblage configured to allow movement of the sliding sleeve from the first to the second position. In an exemplary embodiment, the actuator assemblage includes a biasing chamber having a biasing member disposed therein, wherein the biasing member is configured to apply a force to the sliding sleeve to move the sliding sleeve from the first to the second position.
