A modular radar level measuring device which can be designed to be compact includes a high-frequency module biased according to the invention within the device housing by a spring element in such a way that the waveguide segment of the high-frequency module is pressed with a corresponding force against the corresponding high-frequency connection of the antenna arrangement. This ensures a gap-free and thus low-interference connection of the high-frequency module to the antenna arrangement via the waveguide segments. This simplifies the modular design of the level measuring device. In this case, the level measuring device can be designed to be very compact, especially if the high-frequency module is housed in the measuring device neck of the device housing toward the antenna arrangement.

Level measuring device

The invention relates to a modular field device, which is simply and safely assemblable. For this, the field device comprises: a housing having an electrical plug contact arranged in a housing interior, a mechanical securement, which is embodied to secure a first electronic component in the housing interior, a second electronic component, which is arrangeable in the housing interior and which is electrically contactable with the plug contact, and an elastic connection, which is embodied to connect the first electronic component elastically with the second electronic component. A division of tasks between two electronic components enables a modular design of the field device with universally applicable electronic components. In addition, the elastic connection provides a simple, mechanical securement of the first electronic component in the housing with simultaneous, safe, electrical connection of the second electronic component with the plug contact.

Modular field device

A device for determining or monitoring the filling level of a filling material stored in a container in a process, comprising a signal generating unit, a coupling/decoupling unit which couples the high-frequency measurement signals to an antenna unit or decouples said high-frequency measurement signals from the antenna unit. The antenna unit has a wave guide and an antenna element which widens in the direction of the filling material. The antenna unit emits high-frequency measurement signals in the direction of the surface and receives the echo signals reflected by the surface of the filling material. A control/evaluation unit determines the filling level of the filling material in the container from the transit time of the measurement signals. At least one process separation device is thereby provided in or on the antenna unit, which process separation device protects the coupling/decoupling unit from influences of the process, wherein a first process separation device is produced at least partially from a dielectric material with a specified porosity, and wherein the first process separation device is configured to be at least approximately transparent to the high-frequency measurement signals.

Device for determining or monitoring the filling level of a filling material stored in a container

An apparatus for determining or monitoring the fill level of a fill substance located in a container in a process, comprising: a signal producing unit; an in-coupling/out-coupling unit an antenna unit; wherein the antenna unit has a hollow conductor and an antenna element widening toward the fill substance and the antenna unit transmits high-frequency measuring signals in the direction of the surface of the fill substance and receives echo signals reflected on the surface of the fill substance; and a control/evaluation unit, which ascertains the fill level of the fill substance in the container based on travel time of the measuring signals. In or on the antenna unit a process isolation is provided, which is at least approximately transparent for the high-frequency measuring signals and which protects the in-coupling/out-coupling unit against influences of the process. The process isolation is an isostatically pressed, molded part, which is manufactured of at least two plastics having different physical and/or chemical properties.

An apparatus forming a measuring device for ascertaining and monitoring a chemical or physical process variable in a high temperature process in a container, wherein the measuring device is formed from at least a sensor element located in the process and at least a measurement transmitter located outside the process. At least a first sealing element is provided for sealing against penetration of process medium into the sensor element. The sensor element has a boundary location between a first sensor element region, which faces the process and which is embodied with a high thermal resistance, and a second sensor element region, which faces away from the process and which has a low thermal resistance, and that the temperature sensitive element is arranged in the sensor element at the boundary location.

The device includes: measurement transmitter; and an antenna unit, which is constructed at least of a hollow conductor and a radiating element, wherein a process isolation element is inserted into the hollow conductor for process isolation between measurement transmitter and the process contacting, radiating element. The process isolation element is made of a ceramic material and includes at least one glass layer, via which the process isolation element is directly glass bonded in the hollow conductor in a glass bonding region.

Device for determining and monitoring the level of a medium in a container

A fill level measuring device working with microwaves is provided, with which, with very small inventory cost, many applications having a wide variety of different measuring conditions can be handled. The device includes a modularly assembled antenna, having a cylindrical segment closed at one end. A sending and/or receiving element for microwaves is arranged in the segment. A thread of fixed, predetermined diameter is provided on the open end of the segment. The antenna additionally has a radiating and/or intake element, on whose end facing the segment is provided a thread of the fixed, predetermined diameter. Optionally, the antenna has one or more cylindrical functional elements between the segment and the radiating and/or intake element, which have on both ends, in each case, threads with the fixed, predetermined diameter. The segment, the optional functional elements and the radiating and/or intake element are screwed together by means of the threads.
