The invention concerns a vehicle thrust bearing comprising a rolling bearing forming a stop element (), a support spring retainer (), and an elastic support block (), the rolling bearing including an upper race () arranged in an annular upper cap () forming a contact surface between said upper race () and the elastic block (), a lower race (). The device comprises an annular lower cap () forming a contact surface between the lower race () and the support spring retainer (). The caps () comprise each a thick portion () and a thin portion (), the thin portion () being located axially opposite the thick portion () of the other cap, the lower () and upper () races being urged to be pressed on the thick portions () of the lower () and upper () caps forming a rolling bearing with oblique contact.

A suspension thrust bearing includes a first race, a second race, a row of rolling members disposed between the two races, a cap fastened to the first race and a sealing member that is fastened to a rotary or non-rotary member and cooperates with a respectively non-rotary or rotary surface. The sealing member includes a seal that is initially separate from the cap. The seal is mounted on the cap. It has a bead which is force-fitted in an annular groove in the cap. The seal is disposed axially between the cap and the second race or another cap fastened to the second race and has a lip that comes into rubbing contact with a bearing surface formed by a surface of the second race or of the other cap fastened to the second race.

Sealed suspension thrust bearing

Freewheel device 1 intended to be inserted between the outer cylindrical surface of an inner race 3 and the bore of an outer race 2, of the type comprising a number of wedging cams 7 held, between sliding tracks 4, 6 of the races, by a cage 8 which has windows 9 for the cams 7, and at least one holding member 11a capable of transmitting radial loadings between said races while being force-fitted onto a cylindrical bearing surface 5a of one of the races and in sliding contact with a cylindrical bearing surface 3a of the other race. There are roughnesses where the first race 2 and the holding member 11a contact.

Freewheel device

The rolling-contact bearing comprises a rotating race and a non-rotating race through each of which there pass ducts (6, 7) for passage of fluid, rolling elements (3) between the rotating and non-rotating races, and a sealing device (8) fitted between the rotating and non-rotating races in order to form a leaktight intermediate chamber (14) communicating with the ducts (6, 7) for the passage of fluid. The intermediate chamber has two flexible walls (11) of which the free end parts form two sealing lips (12) in frictional contact with a contact surface (13) of one of the races (2) of the bearing. The frictional contact surfaces (13) are inclined with respect to the axis (XX') of rotation of the bearing. The flexible walls (11) extend substantially parallel to the contact surfaces so that the contact pressure between the sealing lips and the surfaces varies in the same direction as the pressure of the fluid in the intermediate chamber (14) of the sealing device.
