A method for dimensioning the admission pressure at a first, analogized, electromagnetically actuated hydraulic valve for sensitively regulating the pressure in a pressure circuit in which the admission pressure at the first valve can be set by the delivery capacity of an engine pump assembly which is connected to the first valve via a pump-outlet-side pressure line, in particular in a hydraulic motor vehicle brake system, wherein the admission pressure is set by electronically evaluating the tappet reaction of the first valve or of a further hydraulic valve which is also actuated electromagnetically and is connected to the pump-outlet-side pressure line. An electronically controlled motor vehicle brake pressure control device with which the above method can be carried out is also described.

Method for dimensioning the admission pressure at an analogized electromagnetically actuated hydraulic valve

A hydraulic unit for a hydraulic regulation device, in particular for slip-controlled motor vehicle brake systems, includes several hydraulic, mechanical and/or electrically operable functional elements arranged at an accommodating member, such as accumulation elements, valve elements, pressure-generation and driving elements, and including at least one cavity associated with at least one functional element. Two connecting channels that lead into the atmosphere are provided with closing devices, which hinder the ingress of fluid into the cavity and allow ventilation of the cavity and a discharge of leakage fluid into the atmosphere. The invention permits an automatic bleeding and an automatic removal of leakage fluid independently of the spatial arrangement of the unit.

Hydraulic unit

The return pumps of brake systems with a precharging device are greatly stressed by the precharging pressure and subjected to premature wear. Significant leakage occurs in the long run which will damage the pump motors in the worst case. This is prevented by controlling the pressure fluid supply from the precharging source to the suction side of the return pump as a function of the pressure gradient in this connecting line. To this end, an electromagnetically operated on-off valve ( ) with a hydraulically insertable throttle is used.

The present invention relates to a pressure control device, in particular for motor vehicle braking systems, with at least one valve carrier accommodating a pressure control valve, a pressure sensor for detecting the hydraulic pressure in a pressure fluid channel of the valve carrier as well as with an electric module including electric and/or electronic structural members and being connected to the pressure control valve and the pressure sensor by way of electric contacts. The pressure sensor is positioned in a space interposed between the pressure control valve and the electric module, with at least one of the contacts that is connected to the pressure sensor leading through a sensor carrier to the electric module. The sensor carrier is located at least in sections within the space.

Pressure control device

The present invention relates to a hydraulic unit, in particular for slip-controlled automotive vehicle brake systems, including a pump and an electric motor for driving the pump, wherein the drive of the electric motor extends into a crank chamber of the pump, and including ventilation and venting of the crank chamber for the purpose of pressure compensation in relation to the atmosphere using a pressure compensation channel. The pressure compensation channel is connectable to the atmosphere by way of inlet and outlet valves which are closed in their basic position and responsive to the pressure differential.

A pressure valve, particularly for a reciprocating piston pump for conveying pressure fluid in slip-controlled hydraulic brake systems, wherein the pressure valve has a valve seat body and a valve cover body with a pre-tensioning element and a valve element installed in the space formed between the valve seat body and the cover body, which is particularly economical to manufacture, easy to install and particularly safe because of the valve seat body and the valve cover body being manufactured by non-cutting process.

Pressure valve for a reciprocating pump

The present invention relates to a space-saving and weight-saving motor-and-pump assembly which comprises a drive motor and a pump unit driven by the shaft of the said motor. In order to supply in parallel as many media as possible with an assembly of this type, the present invention suggests the additional integration of at least one second pump unit, driven by the motor shaft of the drive motor, into the motor-and-pump assembly.

A hydraulic brake system with anti-lock control comprises a main cylinder connected to a reservoir, wheel brakes connected to the main cylinder by way of brake lines, and a recirculating pump, a suction side of which is connected to the wheel brakes by way of a first suction line. By way of a second suction line, the pump is connected to a pressure source. To control the pressure medium supply from a precharging device or other pressure source to the suction side of the recirculating pump as a function of the pressure in the second suction line, a hydraulically actuated valve is used. The inlet of the valve is connected to the precharging device via the pressure source, the outlet of the valve is connected to the suction side of the recirculating pump. The output pressure of the valve acts in a valve closing direction such that the valve closes once a pressure on the suction side of the recirculating pump exceeds a certain value. Thus, pressure medium supply is controlled as a function of the pressure on the suction side of the recirculating pump rather than the pressure at the valve inlet, to thereby limit the pressure on the suction side and to consequently subject the pump to less wear.

A seat valve for controlling pneumatic or hydraulic pressure between at least two pressure fluid channels (,&prime;) includes a valve closure member (,) connected to a magnetic armature (,), a spring for the basic positioning of the valve closure member (,) in relation to a valve seat (,) in the valve housing (,), a magnetic core and a valve coil for the translatory movement of the magnetic armature (,). A control channel (,), a tappet (,), a sleeve (,&prime;), a rotating field winding (,), and an opening,&prime;) are provided to produce a rotary movement of the magnetic armature (,) and to transmit the rotary movement to the valve closure member (,) for the variable control of a pressure fluid passage.

A vehicle brake system which permits both anti-lock control and different controls of independent force braking operations. In an independent force braking operation, a starting brake pressure is built up in the return circuit in the wheel brakes by way of a precharging pressure generator and the pump and is modulated in the following control phase according to the control algorithms of the selected control. Interposed between the precharging pressure generator and the return pump is a change-over valve which has three switching positions, i.e., one closed, one open, and one throttled. The change-over valve adopts its open position in the filling phase and its throttled position in the control phase. It is so configured that the switching position is achieved as a function of the initial pressure in the inlet chamber but independently of the actuating force which actuates the valve. In the absence of initial pressure, the valve gradually shifts into the open position, opening first a small and then a large cross-section. In the presence of initial pressure in the inlet chamber, the actuating force can only open the small cross-section. The actuating force is so rated that it is unable to overcome the pressure difference applied via the small cross-section which acts on the closure member of the main valve.
