A monitoring method and system are present for process control of surface treatment associated with material deposition on the surface, which provides for achieving and maintaining a desired (according to design rules) geometrical profile of the surface while being coated by certain substance/material. The technique of the invention provides for remotely and fully-automatically monitoring/verifying the geometrical profile of the surface being treated, and providing the control/verification data for executing local corrections. The technique can be applied to various geometrical profiles such as planar geometry, round/curved surface of a predetermined curvature, multi-portions surface with predetermined angular orientations of the multiple portions (e.g. 90 degree angles at corners of a room).

Monitoring system and method for controlling process of surface treatment for construction

The invention stems from the realization that it is possible to control the electric field in the gate region of a field effect transistor (MOS, FET etc.) without changing the net charge of the gate electrode or without resorting to electrical conduction. According to an aspect of the invention, the electric field is changed by modifying the charge distribution within the gate electrode without materially adding or subtracting charge carriers to it or changing its net charge. This is achieved by displacing one or more sources of electric field, for example free charges, or conductive or non-conductive surface charges in the proximity of the gate electrode. By electric induction, the electric field produce a separation of charges in the gate electrode and an alteration in the conduction state of the FET transistor.

The control unit () is configured and operable for controlling an electric field profile in said path so as to selectively cause the electrons' capture on said at least one electrode () resulting in accumulation of charge on said at least one electrode () corresponding to the input electromagnetic signal indicative of an acquired image, thereby enabling direct reading of the accumulated charge. The image sensor cell () thus provides for direct conversion of a light signal into an electric signal indicative thereof.

An electronic memory device includes at least one basic unit, which is configured as a memory cell for storing at least one bit of information. The basic unit includes a vacuum cavity for free charge carriers propagation therethrough, a region of charge carriers emission or entry into the vacuum cavity, an anode electrode which are kept under controllable voltage conditions, and at least one floating gate electrode accommodated in a path of the free charge carriers propagating through the vacuum cavity between the emission or entry region and the anode.
