Various aspects provide a radiohead circuit and a communication device including the radiohead circuit. In an example, the radiohead circuit includes an antenna interface, a radio frequency front end configured to receive a channel scan information including an information related to a target communication channel to be scanned from a communication device processor, perform an energy scan for detecting an activity of the target communication channel based on the channel scan information, generate an activity information including an information as to whether there is the activity on the target communication channel, and provide the activity information to a communication interface; the communication interface configured to couple the processor to a radiohead circuit-external processor external to the radiohead circuit.

An apparatus of a responding station (RSTA) is disclosed, where the apparatus comprises processing circuitry configured to perform ranging with a initiating stations (ISTAs) and maintain a separate sounding dialogue token for each of the ISTAs and transmit a corresponding sounding dialogue token for a ISTA in a trigger frame for ranging and sounding or a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame, and in a responding to initiating location measurement report. Apparatuses of RSTAs and ISTAS are disclosed that perform power control management during non-trigger-based ranging.

An apparatus include a baseband processor configured to receive digital samples of a first wireless local area network (WLAN) signal demodulated with a first phase locked loop (PLL). The baseband processor is configured to determine whether to switch from using the first PLL to demodulate the first WLAN signal to a second PLL to demodulate the first WLAN signal. The apparatus further includes a selection circuit coupled to the first PLL and the second PLL. The selection switch is configured to switch from the first PLL to the second PLL based on the determination. The baseband processor is configured to receive additional digital samples of the first WLAN signal demodulated with the second PLL.

Apparatus, system and method of wireless passive scanning

A tracker circuit configured to provide a variable supply voltage to a power amplifier (PA) circuit is disclosed. The tracker circuit comprises a predefined state machine circuit comprising a plurality of states mapped in accordance with transitions associated with a predefined mapping scheme. In some embodiments, the plurality of states of the state machine circuit identify one or more operational modes associated with the tracker circuit, wherein the one or more operational modes comprises one or more voltage levels respectively associated therewith. In some embodiments, a transition between the one or more operational modes of the tracker circuit is dictated by a decoding of a digital selection signal received from a digital communication interface associated therewith.

A method includes, in a mobile communication terminal that is powered by a DC-DC converter and is operated by a user in accordance with multiple possible usage scenarios, predefining for each of the possible usage scenarios a repective set of one or more parameters of operation for the DC-DC converter. When the user operates the terminal in accordance with a given usage scenario from among the possible usage scenarios, the predefined set of parameters of operation corresponding to the given usage scenario is selected, without physically sensing an electrical current drawn by the DC-DC converter. An apparatus includes multiple media processing modules and a control unit. The media processing modules are configured to exchange digital media signals over a shared bus. Systems and methods are provided for regulating power in an integrated circuit system. A system includes a processing unit configured to monitor one or more operating parameters in the integrated circuit system. Based on the one or more monitored operating parameters, the processing unit is configured to predict an occurrence of an event that will cause an increased load on the integrated circuit system and further to assert a voltage adjustment command based on the predicted event. A power regulator is coupled to a power supply. The power regulator is configured to supply a regulated output voltage at a nominal voltage level. The power regulator is further configured to receive the voltage adjustment command and to supply the output voltage at an adjusted output level responsively to the voltage adjustment command.

Systems and methods for load transient prediction and compensation

Circuits, systems, and methods are disclosed for controlling multiple antenna receive paths in a wireless communication device. In some embodiments, the circuit may include a pair of receiving antennas, a first receive path including a VCO coupled to receive a PLL signal and a first mixer coupled to receive a first signal from the VCO and a signal from one of the antennas, and a second receive path integrated separately from the first receive path including a second mixer coupled to receive a second signal from the VCO and a signal from the other antenna. By utilizing the output of the VCO to tune the first and second mixers in the first and second receive paths to the same phase and frequency, control of the multiple antenna receive paths may be optimized.
