Described embodiments include apparatus that includes a catheter and a tip electrode, at a distal end of the catheter, shaped to define a plurality of fluid apertures. A structure, within the tip electrode, is configured such that fluid passed distally through a lumen of the catheter flows in a longitudinal direction through a space between the structure and an inner surface of the tip electrode, prior to exiting through the fluid apertures. Other embodiments are also described.

Irrigation system for a catheter

Described embodiments include apparatus that includes a catheter and a tip electrode, at a distal end of the catheter, shaped to define a plurality of microelectrode apertures. The apparatus further includes at least one printed circuit board (PCB) disposed within a lumen of the catheter, and a plurality of microelectrodes coupled to the PCB and at least partly situated within the microelectrode apertures, the PCB being configured to carry signals from the microelectrodes. Ablation catheter with a flexible printed circuit board

An implantable device for releasing one or more substances into a body cavity such as a urinary bladder, is provided. The device includes an inner balloon located within an outer balloon so as to define a lumen between the outer and inner balloons. A first valve is used for filling the lumen; and a second valve is used for filling the inner balloon. The device is delivered to the body using a delivery catheter. The inner portion is filled with the substance or substances to be released into the body cavity. The outer balloon is filled with a substance that is chosen to impart a desired specific gravity to the device. The substances to be released may be contained in particles coated with a soluble coating. The particles may be in suspension or embedded in a matrix.

Device, system, and method for releasing substances in a body cavity

Apparatus and methods for treatment of an internal cavity are provided. The internal cavity is coated with a treatment solution. The treatment solution can include a solidifiable matrix with or without a drug or combination of drugs incorporated therein, or a drug solution without a solidifiable matrix. The treatment solution is coated onto at least a portion of the internal cavity, and acts as a slow-release drug delivery system.

A balloon catheter includes an outer conduit having an outer surface, and an inner conduit having an outer surface. There is also a balloon having a proximal margin and a distal margin, such that the proximal margin of the balloon is attached to the outer surface of the distal tip of the outer conduit and the distal margin of the balloon is attached to the outer surface of the portion of the inner conduit that extends beyond the distal tip of the outer conduit. An apparatus for debridement of devitalized tissue in skin lesions, that includes a plurality of height- and angle-adjustable inlet tubes and at least one outlet tube and a member that forms an occlusive seal around a skin lesion.
