A device to inject a composition into an egg includes a guide member, a first locking member and a second locking member. The guide member includes an outer casing secured to the injection needle and an inner casing which can move in translation inside the outer casing. The inner casing connected to the trocar and comprising a cup configured to bear on the upper part of the egg. The first locking member configured to block the movement of the trocar. The second locking member configured to block the movement of the injection needle inserted into the trocar.

In-ovo injection device

A device for reorientation of eggs deposited in the hollow open cells of a tray. The device is intended to reorientate at least one egg from said tray along a substantially vertical axis. The device includes at least one reorientation element capable of moving between a low position and a high position with respect to the cell containing the egg to be reorientated. The reorientation element includes a lower seat on which the upright rods are fixed, the upper ends of said rods being able to spread out with respect to each other on contact with the egg to be re-orientated, the upright rods being intended to interpose themselves between the cell and the egg, in the high position, so as to damp and guide a movement of the egg under the effect of its weight to a substantially vertical position.

Device for reorientation of an egg in a cellular tray

An egg candling method for determining a state of eggs between the 13and the 17day of incubation, particularly for identifying with certainty the living or dead state of that egg. The egg is illuminated with a green or blue light to visually show on the shell a shadow of the blood network supplying the embryo of the egg if it is present in the egg. At least one image of the egg is acquired then processed in order to determine a vitality level of the egg, based on the presence or not of this blood network and the size of the veins of said blood network. The method also determines the presence or absence of air cell in the upper portion of the egg and to thus define the inverted or uninverted position of the egg. Finally, the method also makes it possible to detect lesions on an egg shell and particularly cracked shells.

Method for candling fertilized eggs with green or blue light and corresponding device

An injector for injecting at least one substance into eggs, comprising an injection body that can be moved between a raised position and an injection position, and equipped with an injection conduit, an injection needle, a guiding and protection tube of the needle subject to elastic stress by elastic means to an idle position and capable of being moved towards a retracted position by pressing its distal end against an egg when the injector is in the injection position. The injector is equipped with control means for controlling the supply of said injection conduit with at least one substance, said tube cooperating with said control means to disable the supply of said injection conduit when said tube is in the idle position and to enable the supply of said conduit when said tube is in the retracted position.
