The present invention relates to a process for preparing a bio-diesel, comprising the steps of, in the presence of an additional free fatty acid source, reacting a raw oil-fat with C-Cmonohydric alcohol in a reactor, and separating fatty acid esters from the reacted materials, so as to produce the bio-diesel, wherein the amount of the free fatty acid in the free fatty acid source ranges from 2-100 wt % and is higher than the amount of the free fatty acid in the raw fat-oil. The present process can increase the fatty acid ester yield and purity of raw oil-fats having a low reaction activity, and has a high adaptability to raw materials.

Process for preparing a bio-diesel

The present invention provides a process for preparing a bio-diesel, comprising, in the presence of an alkaline metal compound, reacting an oil-fat with C-Cmonohydric alcohol in a reactor at a reaction temperature of from 130 to 280&#xb0; C. and a reaction pressure of from 1 to 12 MPa, separating fatty acid esters from the reacted materials, so as to produce the bio-diesel, wherein said alkaline metal compound is present in an amount of 0.001-0.07 wt %, in terms of the metal thereof, relative to the weight of the oil-fat. The process provided in the present invention has the advantages of great throughput and high yield of the bio-diesel.

A Y-zeolite-containing composite material made from materials comprising kaolin by in-situ crystallization, said composite material comprises nest-like structure. Content of Y-zeolite is in the range of 30&#x2013;85% by weight of said composite material. The nest-like structure is essentially comprised of rodlike crystal, further comprises flaky crystal or blocky crystal. Y-zeolite in the composite material may be HY, REY, or REHY. Said composite material is suitable to be used as catalysts for catalytic cracking of heavy oil or resid. The invention further relates to a process for preparing the composite material.

Y-zeolite-containing composite material and a process for preparing the same

The present invention relates to a cracking catalyst comprising layered clays and a process for cracking hydrocarbon oils using said catalyst. Said catalyst is prepared by the process comprising the following steps: mixing and slurrying an expandable clay, a modifier component, pseudo-boehmite and water for 0.1-10 h to obtain a slurry, aging the slurry at 50-85&#xb0; C. for 0.1-10 h, then drying and forming the slurry to obtain a formed material, water washing and aging the solid, and finally drying and calcining the solid, and said modifier being one or more selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl polymers of silicon, aluminum, zirconium or titanium, and substances comprising one or more of said hydroxyl polymers. Said process for cracking hydrocarbon oils comprises contacting a hydrocarbon oil with a catalyst under the cracking conditions, said catalyst being the aforesaid cracking catalyst comprising layered clays or a mixture of at least 1% by weight of said cracking catalyst comprising layered clays and a prior cracking catalyst. The catalyst according to the present invention has an improved ability to convert heavy oils. The process according to the present invention for cracking hydrocarbon oils has higher conversion of hydrocarbon oils and higher yield of light oils.

Cracking catalyst comprising layered clays and a process for cracking hydrocarbon oils using the same

A process for adsorptive desulfurization of gasoline or diesel oil or aromatics lower than Ccontaining organic sulfide impurities, wherein these feedstocks contact an amorphous alloy adsorbent comprising nickel as a major active component in a fluidized bed reactor or a magnetic-stabilized fluidized bed reactor or a slurry bed reactor. There is only a single diffuse peak at 2&#x3b8;=45&#xb0; in the 2&#x3b8; range from 20&#xb0; to 80&#xb0; in the X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of the adsorbent. The adsorbent consists of 50-95 wt % of nickel, 1-30 wt % of aluminum, 0-35 wt % of iron, and 0-10 wt % of one or more metals selected from copper, zinc, molybdenum, chromium, and cobalt.

Process for adsorptive desulfurization of light oil distillates

An amorphous alloy catalyst for hydrogenation and its preparation method are disclosed herein. The catalyst essentially consists of nickel ranging between 60 and 98 wt %, iron ranging between 0 and 20 wt %, one doping metal element selected from the group consisting of chromium, cobalt, molybdenum, manganese and tungsten ranging between 0 and 20 wt %, and aluminum ranging between 0.5 and 30 wt % based on the weight of said catalyst, wherein the weight percentages of iron and the doping metal element component may not be zero at the same time; and just one broad diffusion peak appears at about 2 &thgr;&equals;45&plusmn;1&deg; on the XRD patterns of the catalyst within 2 &thgr; range from 20 to 80&deg;. The catalyst herein can be used in processes for hydrogenation of unsaturated compounds such as olefin, alkyne, aromatics, nitro, carbonyl groups, nitrile and soon, and for hydrorefining of caprolactam in particular.

Hydrogenation catalyst and its preparation

A process for alkylation of an isoparaffin with an olefin comprising contacting an isoparaffin containing feed with an olefin-containing feed in the presence of a catalyst, said catalyst is a supported heteropoly acid catalyst, which is represented by the following chemical formula: H,YW,Mo,O,&middot;nH,O, wherein k is 3 or 4, Y is an atom of P, Si, Ge or As, m is a positive integer between 0-12, n is any number in the range of >0-10; the reaction temperature is at least equal to the critical temperature of isoparaffin and up to 300&deg; C.; the reaction pressure is at least equal to the critical pressure of isoparaffin. The advantages of this process are embodied in high olefin conversion, high alkylate yield, and good retention of catalyst stability at the same time.

Process for alkylation of isoparaffin with olefin

A conversion process of hydrocarbon oils comprises at least a hydrodemercaptanization process, wherein said hydrodemercaptanization process comprises contacting a feedstock with a hydrofining catalyst containing a tungsten oxide and/or a molybdenum oxide, a nickel oxide and a cobalt oxide supported on an alumina under the conditions of hydrodemercaptanization, in which the content of said tungsten oxide and/or molybdenum oxide is from 4 wt % to less than 10 wt %, the nickel oxide content is 1-5 wt %, the cobalt oxide content is 0.01-1 wt % based on the catalyst, and the ratio of total atom number of nickel and cobalt to total atom number of nickel, cobalt, tungsten and/or molybdenum is 0.3-0.9. Said process can be carried out at a lower temperature and a lower H/oil volume ratio.

Conversion process of hydrocarbon oils

An amorphous alloy catalyst containing nickel and phosphorus comprising a porous carrier, a Ni--P amorphous alloy supported on the carrier, and a pre-supported catalytic component for inducing and catalyzing the formation of the Ni--P amorphous alloy onto the carrier. In a preferred embodiment, the catalyst contains 0.15-30 wt % of Ni, based on the total weight of the catalyst, 0.03-10 wt % of P, based on the total weight of the catalyst, 0.01-3.5 wt % of B, based on the total weight of the catalyst. The nickel exists in the form of Ni--P or Ni--B amorphous alloy, the atomic ration Ni/P in the Ni--P amorphous alloy is in range of 0.5-10, the atomic ratio Ni/B in the Ni--B amorphous alloy is in range of 0.5-10. The catalyst may further comprise from 0.01 to 20 wt % of a metal additive (M), based on the total weight of the catalyst. The metal additive (M) refers to one or more metal elements, except Ni, which can be reduced from the corresponding salt into its elemental form.

Amorphous alloy catalyst containing phosphorus, its preparation and use

The present invention discloses an amorphous alloy catalyst containing boron, which is composed of a porous carrier, a Q-B amorphous alloy, and a metal additive (M), the content of Q-B amorphous alloy together with metal additive is from 0.1 to 60 wt %, based on the total weight of the catalyst, in which the atomic ratio (Q+M)/B is 0.5-10, and the Q/M atomic ratio is 0.1-1000; wherein Q represents an metal selected from group VIII and B represents boron; and said metal additive (M) refers to those one or more metal elements which can be reduced to its/their elemental states from the corresponding salts by a solution containing BH.sub.4.sup.- with the exception that M is not the one which is used as Q. Said catalyst exhibits high catalytic hydrogenation activity.
