A heating conductor for an exhaust gas heating arrangement for an exhaust gas system for an internal combustion engine includes a plurality of heating conductor sections. At least one throughflow opening, preferably a plurality of throughflow openings through which exhaust gas can flow, is or are provided in at least one heating conductor section, preferably in a plurality of heating conductor sections or in each heating conductor section.

An exhaust system for an internal combustion engine includes an exhaust gas-carrying component () with an outer wall (), a heat conductor element () with a jacket () and with a heat conductor device () enclosed by the jacket (). A pass-through device () provides a gastight passing of the heat conductor element () through the outer wall () of the exhaust gas-carrying component (). An exhaust gas heater for an exhaust gas system of a combustion engine includes a carrier and a heating conductor supported on the carrier. The heating conductor includes a heating region arranged on an axial side of the carrier, wherein the heating conductor is electrically uninsulated in its heating region at least in part. A holding arrangement has at least one holding unit which holds the heating conductor on the carrier in its heating region. The holding unit includes at least one electrically conducting holding block which is in contact with the heating conductor in an electrically uninsulated region of the heating region. The holding block is electrically insulated with respect to the carrier.

Exhaust gas heater

A connection unit for an exhaust gas heater in an exhaust gas system of a combustion engine includes an electrically conducting connection element, elongated in the direction of a connection element longitudinal axis (L). The connection element has an inner connection region for connection to a heating conductor and an outer connection region for connection to an electrical supply. A carrier arrangement surrounds the connection element and an insulating arrangement insulates the connection element with respect to the carrier arrangement.

Connection unit for an exhaust gas heater

An exhaust gas heater, for an internal combustion engine exhaust system, includes a support () with an outer circumferential area (), arranged radially outside in relation to a heater longitudinal axis (A), and a central area (). A heating conductor () is carried at the support and includes a helically wound heating section () on a first axial side () of the support. The central area is axially offset in a direction of the first axial side of the support in relation to the outer circumferential area such that a radially outer end section of the heating section, which outer end section is located in the area of the outer circumferential area of the support, and a radially inner end section () of the heating section, which inner end section is located in the area of the central area of the support, are axially offset in relation to one another.

A gas/gas mixer for introducing gas into an exhaust gas stream of an internal combustion engine. The gas/gas mixer includes an exhaust gas flow duct () in an exhaust gas carrying element (), through which exhaust gas (A) can flow. A mixer body () is arranged in the exhaust gas carrying element () with a plurality of exhaust gas flow openings (), through which exhaust gas (A) flowing in the exhaust gas flow duct () can flow. A gas feed volume (), through which gas (G) to be introduced into the exhaust gas stream (A) can flow, is formed in the mixer body (). The gas feed volume () is open towards the exhaust gas flow duct () via a plurality of gas release openings ().

Gas/gas mixer for introducing gas into the exhaust gas stream of an internal combustion engine

A mixer for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a mixer housing () with an inflow opening central axis (LE) and with an outflow opening (). A first flow duct () following the inflow opening () in the mixer housing () and a second flow duct () lead parallel to one another to a third flow duct () and open into same. The third flow duct () leads to the outflow opening (). The first flow duct () and the second flow duct () are provided between an outer wall () of the mixer housing () and a flow divider wall () enclosed by the outer wall (), and the third flow duct () is enclosed by the flow divider wall ().

Mixer

A mixer is provided for mixing exhaust gas (A) flowing in an exhaust gas-carrying duct () of an internal combustion engine with reactant injected into the exhaust gas-carrying duct (). The mixer includes a mixing body () with a reactant-receiving duct (), an exhaust gas inlet opening device () with a plurality of exhaust gas inlet openings () leading to the reactant-receiving duct (), and at least one releasing duct () leading away from the reactant-receiving duct () with a releasing duct opening () for releasing a reactant/exhaust gas mixture from the mixer body (). An electrically energizable heater () is provided at the mixer body ().

A mixer for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a first mixer part () with a plate shape body () having an incoming upstream flow side (), with respect to an exhaust gas main flow direction (A) and a downstream outflow side (), and a second mixer part (), on an outflow side, with a bottom wall () spaced apart from the plate shape body and with two side walls (), extending from the bottom wall () towards the plate shape body and fixed at the first mixer part. The mixer parts define a reactant injection duct () receiving reactant in a main injection direction (R). An exhaust gas main passage opening () the plate shape body opens towards the reactant injection duct with a plurality of exhaust gas secondary passage openings () run past the injection duct.

A mixer for an exhaust system for mixing reactant injected into an exhaust gas stream with exhaust gas includes a mixer body (). The mixer body includes a reactant passage body area () with a reactant passage opening (), a mixer plate body area () adjoining the reactant passage body area () on one side in a mixer longitudinal direction (L) and a mixer main body area () adjoining the reactant passage body area () in the mixer longitudinal direction (L) on another side opposite the one side.

Mixer for an exhaust system comprising two oppositely bent areas

An exhaust system for an internal combustion engine includes an oxidation catalytic converter unit () with a first catalytic converter housing with a first housing axis (A). An SCR catalytic converter unit () has a second catalytic converter housing (), with a second housing axis (A). A mixer housing () has an upstream connection area () adjoining a downstream end () of the first catalytic converter housing () and has a downstream connection area () adjoining an upstream end () of the second catalytic converter housing. A mixer () is carried in the mixer housing. A reactant release device () at the mixer housing releases reactant into a reactant-receiving duct () of the mixer. The mixer housing includes a first housing part () forming the upstream connection area () and a second housing part () forming the downstream connection area together with the first housing part.

Exhaust system

A mixer for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a plate-shaped mixer body () with an incoming flow side () to be arranged oriented in the upstream direction in relation to an exhaust gas flow (H) and with an outflow side () to be arranged oriented in the downstream direction in relation to the exhaust gas flow (H), a first exhaust gas flow-through opening () in the mixer body (), a reactant-receiving body () carried on the mixer body () in the area of the first exhaust gas flow-through opening (), as well as a plurality of second exhaust gas flow-through openings () in the mixer body (). The second exhaust gas flow-through openings () are arranged surrounding the first exhaust gas flow-through opening () in the mixer body ().

A gas/gas mixer for introducing gas, especially air, into the exhaust gas stream of an internal combustion engine, includes a mixer body () that is elongated in the direction of a body longitudinal axis (L). A plurality of gas passage openings () are provided in a wall () of the mixer body () enclosing a volume of gas to be introduced () in the mixer body (). The mixer body () is configured with a flattened cross-sectional profile, flattened obliquely to the body longitudinal axis (L).

A mixer for mixing exhaust gas flowing in an exhaust gas duct of an internal combustion engine with reactant injected into the exhaust gas duct includes a plate-shaped exhaust gas collection body () with an incoming flow surface () on an exhaust gas incoming flow side () and with a rear side () facing away from the incoming flow side (). A duct housing (), arranged on the rear side () of the exhaust gas collection body (), has a reactant-receiving duct () and at least one release duct () leading away from the reactant-receiving duct (). An exhaust gas collection opening () is formed in the exhaust gas collection body (). An exhaust gas collection duct () leads from the exhaust gas collection opening () to the duct housing () and is open to the reactant-receiving duct ().

A mixer mixes exhaust gas (A) flowing in an exhaust gas-carrying duct of an internal combustion engine with reactant (R) injected into the exhaust gas-carrying duct. The mixer includes a mixer body () with a reactant-receiving duct () as well as a releasing device () with a releasing duct (). The releasing device adjoins the reactant-receiving duct () in a transition area () and leads away from the reactant-receiving duct. The releasing device () has an asymmetric configuration in relation to a longitudinal axis (LR) of the reactant-receiving duct.
