The apparatus comprises a transportable unit with a support base which is provided with wheels and which carries a source for the supply of CO under regulated pressure, having a support foot provided, at the top, with an articulated arm carrying a programming and control screen and means for receiving an exchangeable metering device capable of receiving the CO by way of ducts coming from the CO source and of metering it to an outlet for a catheter for administration to the patient, having motorised means capable of actuating the intake of CO into the metering device and of actuating the valves thereof in order to control the administration of the gas.

Apparatus for angiography by the injection of CO2

A universal apparatus for clinical analysis is provided comprising a base-board having three main levels. The first level holds a terminal for containers of reagents and samples and includes a device for cyclically vibrating individual vials. External graphic marks on vials and bottles and the internal characteristics of the same, such as the level of contents can be read. The second level of the base-board includes a thermostatic block which is provided with a number of grooves which can receive either disposable strips of small analytical containers or analytical cards. An agglutination reader is also provided. The third level carries a centrifuge which receives either strips or cards from a collection head having a clamp for collecting, conveying and placing in position the strips and cards; the head also including a pipetting needle.

Universal apparatus for clinical analysis

The present invention provides a device for carrying out erythrocytic reactions, wherein the device includes a molded plate having multiple individual reaction compartments, each formed by an upper and lower chamber. The upper chamber is adapted to receive liquid for the first phase of the erythrocytic reaction which consists of dispensing reagents and samples, and the lower chamber contains a separating medium and reagents for the second phase of the reaction, wherein one or more products of the first phase are contacted with the contents of the lower chamber. The upper chamber communicates with the lower chamber through a narrow gap having a controlled width, such that the meniscus formed by surface tension prevents passage of the liquid in the upper chamber to the lower chamber, wherein centrifugation triggers the passage of liquid from one chamber to another.
