A dual-clutch transmission includes an odd gears clutch, an odd gears shaft supporting at least two odd-numbered rotary gears, an even gears clutch, and an even gears shaft supporting at least two even-numbered rotary gears. A driven rotary shaft is selectively connectable to one respective said odd- or even-numbered gear at a time. The dual-clutch transmission includes first and second range selection gears to transfer drive from the driven rotary shaft to an output shaft so as selectively to permit selection of at least a first range transmission ratio or a second range transmission ratio. The dual-clutch transmission further includes a first bypass drive line to drive engagement of at least two mutually engaged bypass rotary gears with the output shaft, giving rise to a first intermediate transmission ratio.

Relating to dual-clutch transmissions

A clutch assembly for a transmission of an agricultural work vehicle. The clutch assembly includes a housing, a clutch pack located within the housing, a piston chamber located within the housing, and a piston located within and slidable relative to the piston chamber. The piston is operably connected to the clutch pack for engaging and disengaging the clutch pack. The clutch assembly further includes a balance chamber that is located within the housing. The lower boundary wall of the balance chamber and the lower boundary wall of the piston chamber are radially separated from one another by a substantial distance.

An electronically controlled brake system for trailer tractors. The system having a device for braking the tractor and trailer, and for steer-by-braking the tractor only, tractor brakes, and further devices for braking the trailer only. The further devices include a normally-ON valve allowing simultaneous braking of the tractor and trailer. The valve is switched to OFF when the steer-by-braking function is activated.

Electronically controlled brake system for trailer tractors

A trailer braking device having a high-pressure main hydraulic circuit of a tractor to which a trailer is attached; to a hydraulic circuit of a master brake cylinder of the tractor; and a trailer brake valve having a driver connected hydraulically to the high-pressure main hydraulic circuit and to the hydraulic circuit. The driver of the device has a piston which is subjected to a first action by an independent circuit that is activated, for example, by the stop lights and a second action produced by the operator, such as a foot acting on a brake pedal, on the hydraulic circuit of the master brake cylinder.

A farm implement of a tractor is hitched to two lift arms, each of which is moved by a respective actuating cylinder having two chambers connected to a feed circuit supplying a pressurized fluid; the feed circuit having, for each chamber, two feed lines for feeding the fluid to and from the chamber respectively, and four independent valves, each located along one of the feed lines and movable between a closed position and at least one open position respectively closing and opening the relative feed line.

Hydraulic control valve for agricultural implements

A hydraulic steering system for a tractor is provided which can be operated in a conventional steering mode or in a fast steering mode. In conventional steering mode, a conventional steering wheel and steering motor direct pressurized oil to the steerable wheels for selecting the turning direction, the turning angle, and the speed with which the turning angle is achieved. In fast steering mode, a fast-turning valve is controlled by the operator to direct oil directly to the steerable wheels, thereby by-passing the steering motor. The conventional steering wheel and steering motor continue however to control the steering operation.

Hydraulic steering system

An engine delivers torque to a transmission drive shaft through a flywheel and a damper. The damper includes a drive plate attached to the flywheel which is in turn mounted on the engine crankshaft. The damper has two driven plates which are fixed on the transmission drive shaft. The drive plate and driven plates have openings for retaining springs through which torque is transmitted from the drive plate to the driven plates. The flywheel has a plurality of arcuate segments equally spaced apart around a peripheral edge to form a plurality of windows. One of the driven plates has a plurality of radially extending fingers each extending into one of the windows so that gaps exist between each finger and two adjacent arcuate segments. As torque is transmitted through the damper the springs are compressed and the fingers move in the windows. A single sensor senses the passage of the arcuate segments, gaps and fingers and generates an output signal which is analyzed by a microcomputer to produce indications of engine RPM and torque transmitted through the damper.
