An imaging device is provided that may be used for visually inspecting structures. In one embodiment, the imaging device includes an image capture device; and a rail system having a stationary component connected to the image capture device and a sliding component for movement along a horizontal axis. The system can further include a jig structure engaged to the sliding component of the rail system. The jig structure may include a first mount location for engagement to a first type connector and a second mount location for engagement to a second type connector. The jig structure is engaged to the sliding component to position the housing so that the first and second mount locations are in line and parallel to a direction of travel along the horizontal axis including a point at which the first and second mount locations pass through the imaging location.

Alignment system and tool for visual inspection

A plugging calibration tool is provided. The plugging calibration tool includes a body and a slide clamp assembly. The body includes keying portions, flanges and a calibrator. The slide clamp assembly includes a slide clamp, which is movable between the keying portions and the flanges, and biasing and locking elements. The biasing and locking elements are respectively configured to bias the slide clamp toward and to lock the slide clamp in abutment with a tool head, which is fittable between the keying portions and the slide clamp, such that the tool head engages with the keying portions. A head of a screw engaged with the tool head is receivable in the calibrator and rotatable in the calibrator such that the head of the screw is drawn into abutment with a calibration surface of the calibrator while the tool head engages with the keying portions.

Plugging calibration tool

A method of mounting a module to a land grid array is provided. The method includes installing a tool to a fixture. The tool includes at least one alignment member and at least one cavity partially defined by the at least one alignment member. The at least one cavity of the tool is aligned with one or more corresponding sockets of the land grid array. The method further includes installing a module through the cavity such that the module is substantially aligned with the socket as it is connected to the land grid array.

Method of mounting a module to a land grid array (LGA)

A module installation assembly for installing a module into a socket of a land grid array includes a tool having a mounting bracket for connecting the tool to an adjacent fixture, an alignment member connected to the mounting bracket, and cavity defined at least partially by the alignment member. The cavity is substantially aligned with a socket of the land grid array such that the module is configured to pass through the cavity when being connected to the socket.

Module installation alignment device

A module placement apparatus is provided and includes alignment brackets and a module placement tool. The alignment brackets include first guidance features, define an interior and are disposable aside an array of contacts. The module placement tool is insertible into the interior in first and second stages and includes a frame, a module gripping element operably supported on the frame, second guidance features engageable with the first guidance features at a conclusion of the first stage to maintain a relative orientation of the array of contacts and the frame during the second stage, and a gimbaled handle coupled to the module gripping element to maintain the relative orientation during the first stage until at least first and second guidance feature engagement.

Module placement apparatus

Embodiments of the present invention provide moisture measuring systems and methods. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a sealable compartment is used in which a specimen containing liquid can be inserted, such that all of the specimen is contained within the compartment. The relative humidity in the compartment is measured over a duration of time, which can be used to calculate the amount of liquid leaked by the specimen. Embodiments of the present invention can be utilized, for example, to calculate the leakage rate of water-carrying hardware of a cooling system, without having to create a membrane or other isolated sample of materials.

A quick-connect coupling tool includes a first member and a second member. The second member is slidably affixed to the first member. The quick-connect coupling tool further includes a first pair of prongs and a second pair of prongs, the first pair of prongs is affixed to the first member, oriented in a first direction, and orthogonal to the first member. The second pair of prongs is affixed to the first member, oriented in the first direction, and orthogonal to the second member. The quick-connect coupling tool includes a first urging means for urging the first pair of prongs and the second pair of prongs apart and a second urging means for urging the first pair of prongs and the second pair of prongs together. The first urging means and the second urging means are affixed to the first member and the second member.

A cable removal device comprises a body comprising a head portion and a rear portion, the rear portion adapted as a handle portion, the head portion comprising a bent portion extending from a front end of the head portion, the bent portion further containing tabs surrounding a gap that extends inward from the front end, the gap adapted to allow the bent portion to extend over a latch release tab of a cable connector device while the latch release tab is maintained in a latched position, without contact therewith until a subsequent movement of the body causes the body to contact the latch release tab and thereby move the latch release tab into a released position that disengages the cable connector device from a commodity connector device.

An electronics rack with a cooling apparatus and a liquid-coolant-driven, electricity-generating system. The generating system includes a housing coupled in fluid communication with a fluid transport pipe of the cooling apparatus, an impeller disposed within the housing and positioned to turn with flow of fluid across the impeller, one or more magnetic structures disposed to turn with turning of the impeller, and an electrical circuit. Electricity is generated for the electrical circuit with turning of the one or more magnetic structures, and is supplied to an electrical load disposed within or associated with the electronics rack.
