A method for evaluating a quasi-stationary pressure difference detectable by a sensor at a gas boiler. The gas boiler has a mixing device (), a fan (), a main flow regulator (), a control valve () and a safety valve (). The sensor detects a differential pressure between a pressure (p) at a measuring point upstream of the main flow regulator () and downstream of the control valve () and a reference pressure (p, p) at a reference measuring point. The sensor transmits a signal to an electronic evaluation system. The electronic evaluation system compares the differential pressure during a pre-purge phase, wherein the safety valve () is closed, with the differential pressure after the pre-purge phase and detects an error by the comparison.

A valve monitoring system for a coaxial dual-safety valve of a gas valve unit that controls a gas request of a gas burner occurring in the course of a heat request. The valve monitoring system including at least the coaxial dual-safety valve and a control valve arranged fluidically connected downstream of the dual-safety valve for controlling the gas quantity.

A safety valve () has a first valve, and a second valve, a magnetic armature () moved by voltage applied to a coil (). Movement of the armature () acts against a spring force of the first valve spring () and loosens the first valve body () from the first valve seat (). The movement of the armature () subsequently acts against a spring force of the second valve spring () and loosens the second valve body () from the second valve seat (). This frees a valve opening for a flowthrough of the gas flow. The flowthrough amount of the gas flow through the valve opening can be continuously controlled as a function of the voltage applied to the coil () between a closed position and a fully open position even in partially open positions.

The invention relates to a gas control unit of modular design, in particular for controlling the quantity of gas to be fed to a gas burner, having a pneumatically controlled gas control valve that is configured as a whole as a module and is usable in such a gas control unit of modular design together with a gas safety valve.

The invention relates to a device for providing a gas/combustion air mixture for a gas burner, comprising a fan () for providing a combustion air flow, a gas control device for providing a gas flow and a mixing device () for mixing the combustion air flow and the gas flow, thus providing the gas/combustion air mixture. Said mixing device () and the fan () are connected together on one side, and on the other side, the mixing device and the gas control device are connected together. According to the invention, the mixing device () and the fan () are connected together in such a manner that a vibration absorber () is arranged between a connecting section () of the mixing device () and a connecting section () of the fan ().

Device for providing a gas/combustion air mixture for a gas burner

Regulating device for gas burners for providing a gas/air mixture, with a mixing device for mixing a gas flow with a combustion air flow to provide the gas/air mixture, wherein at least one gas valve is positioned in a gas line which conducts the gas flow, which is adjusted in dependence upon a measurement signal of an electric or electronic sensor, wherein the sensor determines the differential pressure between the gas line and a reference pressure. The mixing device may be formed as a Venturi nozzle, in which the gas flow and the combustion air flow are mixed, wherein the reference pressure for the sensor is a device in which the reference pressure prevails, and the device is connected via a connecting line to the Venturi nozzle downstream of the mixing region of the Venturi nozzle.

Regulating device for gas burners

The invention relates to a control method for gas burners for providing a gas-air mixture. According to the invention, the ionization signal is only used for setting the mixing ratio dependent on the gas quality when the burner flame completely sweeps over the sensor generating the ionization signal. Outside the above-mentioned range, i.e. when the burner flame does not completely sweep over the sensor generating the ionization signal, the gas-air mixture is controlled dependent on the previously determined mixing ratio.

Control method for gas burners

The invention relates to a regulating system for a gas burner. Regulating systems for gas burners are used for guiding a gas flow and a combustion air flow to the burner. The gas flow can be regulated depending on combustion air pressure. Pressure is measured in known regulating devices with the aid of a membrane, that is pneumatically. The pneumatic pressure measurement limits the scope of application of known regulating devices. In the invention regulating device, a sensor ( ) is arranged between a first line ( ) guiding a gas flow and a second line ( ) guiding the combustion air flow, an electric or electronic signal ( ) being generated by the sensor that is used to regulate the gas valve ( ).

Gas burner regulating system

A burner control system for controlling gas flow to a burner in response to a pressure differential indicative of air flow to the burner, the pressure differential being impressed across a diaphragm which actuates a bleed valve controlling the pressure on one side of the diaphragm actuator of a fuel valve. The bleed chamber is connected to the outlet of the gas valve and the low pressure side of a pressure differential through separate flow restrictors.
