The present disclosure, in its various aspects, is directed to instrument accessory devices, implementation methods, and related delivery systems. Embodiments according to the present disclosure, including as described herein, may increase the effectiveness and efficiency of endoscopy procedures, such as ERCP. In one example, an embodiment includes an instrument accessory device with an expandable member, the device configured to receive an instrument through an instrument lumen, wherein the expandable member comprises an aperture on the inner surface and outer surface, and the outer surface is in fluid communication with the inner surface.

Devices, systems, and methods for an instrument accessory

In one example, a retrieval device may include a flexible loop; a net coupled to the loop, the net having an opening at least partially circumscribed by the loop; a sheath extending from a proximal end to a distal end; a cord extending through and/or around the net; and a connector assembly movable from a first configuration to a second configuration. In the first configuration, the flexible loop, the net, and the cord may be coupled to the sheath, and in the second configuration, the flexible loop, the net, and the cord may be detached from the sheath.

Medical retrieval systems, devices, and related methods

The present disclosure, in its various aspects, is directed to instrument accessory devices, implementation methods, and related delivery systems. Embodiments according to the present disclosure, including as described herein, may increase the effectiveness and efficiency of endoscopic procedures, such as Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). In one example, an embodiment includes an instrument accessory device with an expandable member, the device configured to receive an instrument through an instrument lumen, wherein the outer surface may comprise an expandable material. The device may comprise a constrainment element disposed about the outer surface of the expandable member, the constrainment element comprising a proximal end, a distal end, an inner surface, and an outer surface.

According to one aspect, an apparatus for treating tissue may include an elongate tube. The elongate tube may include a slot extending longitudinally along a first side of the elongate tube, a first elongate jaw member on a first side of the slot, and a second elongate jaw member on a second side of the slot. The apparatus may also include a shaft coupled to the elongate tube along a second side of the elongate tube. The first elongate jaw member may be movably coupled to the shaft, such that the first elongate jaw member may be movable toward the second elongate jaw member to converge tissue walls within the slot and cut the tissue walls within the slot.

Devices and related methods for gastrectomies

An illustrative stent may comprise an elongated tubular member having a first end and a second end and an intermediate region disposed therebetween. The elongated tubular member may include at least one barb attached thereto. The barb may be configured to be tucked under a filament of the stent during delivery of the stent and protrude radially from the stent, when the stent is deployed.

An esophageal atresia bridge device including a proximal anchor, a distal anchor, and a brace extending between the proximal anchor and the distal anchor. The brace permits the proximal anchor to move toward the distal anchor to apply a controlled tension that pulls the esophagus together and stretches the esophagus over time. A medical instrument may include a tube, a sheath provided around and coaxial with the tube, and an inflatable balloon at a distal end of the sheath. The balloon may receive a fluid from a lumen of the sheath, and may have a central opening along a longitudinal axis thereof, and into which the tube extends, a proximal portion, a middle portion adjacent to and distal of the proximal portion, and a distal portion adjacent to and proximal of the middle portion. When the balloon is inflated with the fluid, a maximum diameter of the middle portion may be less than a maximum diameter of the proximal portion, and less than a maximum diameter of the distal portion. The medical instrument may also include an extraction member provided at a distal end of the tube, distal to the balloon, and movable axially relative to the balloon.

The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices. In particular, the present disclosure relates to devices and methods for controlled delivery of a stent, such as a self-expanding stent, and more particularly for controlling the full deployment of a stent in incremental steps from a sheath and for controlling the reconstrainment of a stent in incremental steps within a sheath.

Stent delivery device includes an inner member having a distal tip, a stent disposed over a stent receiving region of the inner member, an outer sheath slidable over the inner member, a stent sheath removably coupled to both the distal tip and a distal end of the outer sheath, and a stent expanding element attached to the distal tip and/or the distal end of the outer sheath. The stent expanding element is biased in an elevated position and aids expansion of the stent when the stent sheath is removed. The stent delivery device includes a proximal junction removably coupling the distal end of the outer sheath to the stent sheath, and a proximal junction removably coupling the stent sheath to the distal tip. Each of the proximal and distal junctions are separately actuatable to decouple the stent sheath from either the distal tip or the outer sheath.

A medical device may include a snare loop and an elastic member that connects at least two sides of the snare loop. The elastic member is configured to transition from an unexpanded state where the elastic member is in a plane of the snare loop to an expanded state where the elastic member is outside the plane of the snare loop. The snare loop has a same shape when the elastic member is in the unexpanded shape and the expanded shape.

A stent delivery device including an elongate shaft having a proximal region, a distal region and at least one lumen extending therein. The stent delivery device also includes a collapsible frame attached to the distal region of the elongate shaft. The collapsible frame includes a plurality of arms configured to surround a stent such that the plurality of arms define a stent containment region. The stent delivery device also includes an inner member extending within a least a portion of the stent containment region and an actuation member configured to actuate the plurality of arms of the collapsible frame from an expanded configuration to a collapsed configuration.
