A filter assembly comprises a filter element and a housing. The filter element comprises a filter media, and an alignment feature positioned on at least a portion of an outer surface of the filter media. The alignment feature comprises an alignment channel. The housing defines a housing internal volume. At least a portion of the filter element is positioned within the housing internal volume. The housing comprises an alignment protrusion extending axially from a housing inner surface towards the filter element so as to mate with the alignment channel. The alignment feature comprises a ring member positioned circumferentially around the filter media at a filter media first end proximate to the housing, and a filter baffle extending from the ring member. The filter baffle is circumferentially positioned on at least a portion of the outer surface of the filter media and defines the alignment channel.

Filter element and housing having non-circular cross-sections

Filter media having a design embossed into the media are described. In some arrangements, the filter media is pleated filter media. In other arrangements, the filter media includes a plurality of channels, such as tetrahedron channels. The filter media includes a pattern of interrupted straight or angled embossments that help maintain separation between adjacent layers of the filter media. The embossments allow for two adjacent media layers (e.g., mating surfaces of the filter media) to remain separated, thereby increasing dust holding capacity and lowering pressure drop ever similarly configured filter media not having the embossments.

A latch element for use with a filter element is described. The latch element includes a first end and a second end spaced laterally from the first end. An engagement portion is disposed between the first end and the second end. The engagement portion is configured to engage a housing. The handle portion is adjacent to the second end. The handle portion is configured to engage the filter element and facilitate removal of the filter element.

Safety filter snap fit system

Filter media having a design embossed into the media are described. In some arrangements, the filter media is pleated filter media. In other arrangements, the filter media includes a plurality of channels, such as tetrahedron channels. Radial seal filter assemblies and filter cartridges are described. According to various embodiments, a filter includes a housing that extends along an axis between first and second axial ends. A primary filter element is disposed in the housing and axially extends between first and second axial ends that respectively are adjacent the first and second axial ends of the housing, the primary filter element has a hollow interior and a first axial length. A secondary filter element is disposed in the hollow interior of the primary filter element, the secondary filter element having a second axial length, the second axial length being longer than the first axial length of the primary filter element. The filter further includes an end cap disposed on the second axial end of the primary filter element.

Assembly to be used to filter a fluid, containing a housing () which comprises a housing base () and a housing upper part () connected removably to the housing base (). An axial shaft () extends at least partially through the filter element () when the filter element () is contained inside the housing (). Rotating coalescer

A filter cartridge having an endplate formed of polyurethane having a varying hardness is described. A first portion of the endplate is harder than a second portion of the endplate. The first portion of the endplate helps support the filter media of the filter element and maintain the shape of the filter element. The second, softer portion creates a seal between the filter element and a filter housing when the filter element is installed in the filter housing. The first portion and separate portions may be formed from different types of polyurethane or from the same type of polyurethane having a varying composition as a function of the radial distance of the endplate.

The filter is intended to be press fitted to a duct of said set. According to one representative embodiment, a fluid storage device for storing a first fluid in a second fluid storage container fillable with a second fluid includes a first fluid storage container, a first fluid inlet coupled to the first fluid storage container, and a first fluid outlet coupled to the first fluid storage container. The first fluid storage container is flexible. The first fluid inlet is communicable in fluid receiving communication with a first fluid source. The first fluid in the first fluid storage container is caused to drain from the first fluid outlet based on at least one of a first fluid level, a first fluid storage container pressure, a second fluid storage container pressure, the second fluid storage container filling with the second fluid, the first fluid outlet being opened for first fluid egress, and a first fluid outlet pressure.
