Method and systems for determining when to accelerate, decelerate, or maintain current speed of cruise control based on the blindspots of vehicles. Distances between a vehicle and one or more surrounding vehicles are measured using a plurality of sensors. These measurements are used to determine if a vehicle has a surrounding vehicle in its blindspot or if the vehicle is in the blindspot of the surrounding vehicle. Cost calculations are made to determine the individual cost calculations of maintaining current speed versus changing the acceleration. The lowest cost calculation is selected and implemented by the vehicle such that velocity is maintained or acceleration of the vehicle is changed.

Blindspot aware adaptive cruise control

An example operation includes one or more of determining a time when a battery of an electric transport loses efficiency below a threshold, determining a device apart from the transport that can be powered above the threshold using the battery, and providing a net gain or a net loss related to the electric transport and the device, when the battery is removed from the electric transport to power the device.

Transport battery repurposing

A vehicle, method, and machine-readable storage medium for detecting a vehicle accident are provided. For example, the method includes accessing an accident profile associated with a second vehicle by a first vehicle, wherein the accident profile contains data indicating vehicle operating parameters during a prior vehicle accident; collecting current vehicle operating parameters from the first vehicle and the second vehicle, the current vehicle operating parameters being collected in real time; based on a comparison between the current vehicle operating parameters and the accident profile associated with the second vehicle, determining a probability of the future vehicle accident; determining a preventive action responsive to the probability of the future vehicle accident occurring; and when the probability of the future vehicle accident occurring exceeds a probability threshold, implementing the preventive action by controlling one or more of the operational systems of the first vehicle to change at least one of the current vehicle operating parameters.

Real-time vehicle accident prediction, warning, and prevention

An example operation may include one or more of identifying a target device has entered a transport and has initiated a transport event at a target location, applying permissions, associated with the target device, to the transport event, determining a transport event modification has occurred, when the transport has stopped moving for a predetermined period of time and one or more transport operations have occurred, prior to arriving at a transport event destination, determining whether the permissions permit the transport event modification, and notifying one or more registered devices associated with the target device of the transport event modification.

Managing transport occupants during transport events

A method of determining one or more actions of a vehicle approaching an intersection having traffic lights is provided. Traffic information can be received from the traffic lights. A speed of the vehicle can be detected by a sensor. A distance between the vehicle and an intersection can be determined by processing circuitry. An amount of time for the vehicle to reach the intersection can be calculated. The traffic information with the amount of time can be compared. The one or more actions of the vehicle based on the comparison can be determined.

System and method for determining actions of a vehicle by visible light communication

Vehicle alerts can be presented to the driver of a vehicle based on behaviors. It can be determined whether the driver will avoid an identified risk at a current location of the vehicle. Such a determination can be based on the past driving behavior of the driver and/or a general driving behavior of one or more other drivers. It can be determined whether to present an alert about the identified risk based on whether the driver will avoid the identified risk. In response to determining to that an alert about the identified risk should be presented, an intensity level for the alert can be determined. The alert can be caused to be presented to the driver at the determined intensity level.

Behavior-based vehicle alerts

Systems and methods are provided for operating a vehicle using dynamic speed limits. A vehicle can monitor current road conditions by capturing real-time data that is indicative of a driving environment associated with a roadway being traversed by the vehicle. Using the captured real-time data, the vehicle can predict a dynamic speed limit, wherein the dynamic speed limit is a driving speed for the vehicle that is adapted for the monitored current road conditions. Additionally, the vehicle can automatically perform a driving operation for the vehicle in accordance with the dynamic speed limit, wherein the driving operation causes the vehicle to move at a driving speed that is approximately equal to the predicted dynamic speed limit.

Dynamic speed limit for vehicles and autonomous vehicles

Methods, systems, and computer readable mediums for determining a scene representation for a vehicle are provided. A disclosed method includes acquiring data from one or more sensors of the vehicle. The method further includes detecting, using processing circuitry, one or more objects in a surrounding of the vehicle based on the acquired data; determining whether an object of the detected one or more objects intersects with a vehicle lane of travel; determining whether the object is in a lane of travel of the vehicle; determining inter-vehicle gaps and cut-ins between the object and the vehicle; and rendering a scene representation including the inter-vehicle gaps and cut-ins between the object and the vehicle.

Systems and methods for vehicle lane estimation

An example operation may include one or more of receiving a request from a requesting device to initiate a transport to perform a transport event at a target location, identifying the transport to perform the transport event, identifying a target device associated with the transport event is located at the target location, receiving location updates of the transport and the target device at a server, determining the transport has initiated the transport event based on the location updates of the transport, determining the target device and the transport are proximate to one another based on the location updates, and monitoring the location updates to identify whether the transport has deviated from a target travel path area.

Methods, systems, and devices for a cross-linked distributed ledger. The cross-referencing system includes multiple computing devices including a first computing device and a second computing device. A computing device of the multiple computing devices is configured to maintain a first cross-linked distributed ledger. The first cross-linked distributed ledger has a first set of multiple linked records that are associated with a first identifier. The first computing device includes a processor. The processor is configured to link or provide a first record associated with the first identifier to the first cross-linked distributed ledger. The first record has a first reference to a second record. The second record is within a second set of multiple cross-linked records of a second cross-linked distributed ledger.

Methods and systems for managing information about fuel stations. A system includes an imaging system and a profile management system. The imaging system is used for generating imaging data for a fuel station onboard a vehicle. The profile management system receives the imaging data. The profile management system identifies selected information for the fuel station based on the imaging data received. The selected information includes an identification of the fuel station, pricing information, and at least one of fuel inventory information, or business hours information for the fuel station. The profile management system updates a profile for the fuel station based on the selected information. The profile management system sends at least a portion of the profile for the fuel station to a target system.

Data analytics for smart vehicle fueling

Apparatuses, methods and systems provide technology to detect a pest-related fault or failure of an electronic control unit (ECU). The technology may also detect a presence of one or more pests via cameras, LiDAR sensors, RADAR sensors, motion sensors, one or more sound sensors, or one or more heat sensors. The technology may also provide countermeasures to disable, remove or eradicate the pests from the vehicle. The countermeasures may include one or more of a laser to target small pests, an electrical discharge insect control system to exterminate insects, and a vibration or sound emission system to target rodents.

Automated pest warning and eradication system

The efficiency of commercial vehicle operations can be facilitated by using a blockchain. The blockchain can be used to track commercial operators and provide a logistical network for swapping operators. An operator identity for an initial operator of a vehicle and a route limitation indicating operator restrictions with respect to a route can be recorded in a blockchain database. Using a vehicle operation history retrieved from the blockchain database for the initial operator, a time frame for operation of the vehicle by the initial operator can be determined based on the route limitation and the vehicle operation history. An operator swap event at a swap location can be coordinated so that control of the vehicle can be transferred from the initial operator to a subsequent operator based on the time frame. The operator swap event and a subsequent operator identity can be recorded in the blockchain database.

Driver swapping

A change in state is identified of cargo that, at least for a time period, is carried by a vehicle. Spatiotemporal data indicative of a time and a place at which the change in state of the cargo occurs are assembled. The spatiotemporal data are recorded in a distributed electronic ledger. An occupant of the vehicle is alerted of the change in state of the cargo.

Unsecured object detection and alert

A vehicle and a method for the vehicle to detect a vehicle accident are provided. The method includes accessing at least one accident profile, wherein each accident profile contains information describing, for vehicles involved in a vehicle accident, data indicating vehicle operating parameters during the accident; collecting, in real time, data from the vehicle and at least one nearby vehicle, the data describing current vehicle operating parameters for the vehicles; comparing the data collected in real time with the at least one accident profile to determine a probability of a vehicle crash; and implementing preventive action responsive to the probability of a vehicle crash exceeds a probability threshold.
